I watched the Khan - Peterson Fight last night.
Peterson really did surprise me with how aggressive he was. It literally looked like Margarito chasing Cotto! LOL
I fucking can't stand Khan, but I give him some props because he is a real decent fighter. The I thought the first point deduction was a good call, but the second was stupid and unnecessary. Peterson chasing Khan around the ring was very entertaining.
And the way he would load up that right hand was something vicious! Either Khan can take a punch or Peterson doesn't punch very hard. Either way, I am glad someone derailed the "Khan is a World Class Champ" Tour!!!!
I missed the heavy weight fight but I heard the American looked really good.

yeah Seth Mitchell looked pretty good. He pretty much destroyed Timur Ibragimov in two rounds, which is a pretty good statement since Timor has never been stopped before.
I'm not sure what Mitchell will become but it's nice to finally see an american heavyweight who enters the ring intending to seriously hurt people.

the one thing I'm worried about is he started boxing so late, I believe the age of 20, so he's pretty inexperienced compared to everyone else. But like you said he seems to be improving, he's in shape (although he's never gone past round 6 so there is a lot of unknown there) and the division is weak as hell so he's got a shot.

When either of those fighters are pitted up against a black fighter, guess who you will be rooting for? Floyd, Agbeko, etc.

Now Mitchell is some big HW contender? If he was white you wouldn't say anything, and you know it. If he lost, you also wouldn't even acknowledge it. Mitchell wouldn't last 3 rounds with another banger (ie-big nipple) and any top boxer would just dance around him. Let's not act like you were some huge Lamont Peterson fan as well.

Actually I am a Peterson fan and I was one of the only ones that was looking forward to Khan vs Peterson. Cayo vs Peterson that ended FNF in 2011 was a damn good fight you should watch it. Not once did I say Mitchell was a great contender, I just said that he is improving his skills and he's in shape. The fact of the matter is that you have no fucking clue about what you are talking about.
