Actually I am a Peterson fan and I was one of the only ones that was looking forward to Khan vs Peterson. Cayo vs Peterson that ended FNF in 2011 was a damn good fight you should watch it. Not once did I say Mitchell was a great contender, I just said that he is improving his skills and he's in shape. The fact of the matter is that you have no fucking clue about what you are talking about. You are a hater you can't match me in boxing IQ now you're just making up dumb shit showing your HOMOtional feelings again.

Below is what I said before the fight but I'm not a Peterson fan. LOL Proved wrong again just stop cornball.

I'm ready for the Peterson vs Khan fight. Now this should be a good fight. Khan better bring his A-game, or he will get out boxed and maybe stopped late. Peterson has real boxing skills. This would be Khan's best win if he beats Peterson.

bigface was promoting this fight pretty hard. I remember.....

you were right. It was a great fight.

^^Thank you homie JLMACN. We all love boxing and we just want to see some good fights. Who do you guys got on the 17th Froch or Ward?
I have to go with Ward, because of his hand speed, quickness, and inside fighting. Froch made me a fan because of his tuffness, great chin, shit talking, and dude can just flat out fight. But Dirrells hand-speed and quickest gave Froch a lot of problems in there fight. Ward by UD. Like 206 said the winner of this fight should be #3 on the pound for pound list.

Khan's biggest problem is that he can't make adjustments in the ring at all. Roach fighters for that matter don't have a Plan-B in the ring if Plan-A doesn't work. Plus Khan's defense is not good at all. He needs to get back in the gym and get to work, because the blueprint is out on how to beat Khan. If he gets a rematch with Peterson he's going to have another long night ahead of him.
also if you notice roach's fighters have no defense that's 3 losses in less than 2 months for mr. 5 time trainer of the year... my ass.

I don't see how that makes him a bad trainer. You win some you lose some.

It wasn't long ago where Khan was KTFO in less than 60 seconds by a complete unknown, so Khan has came a long way since then without question. He still has a lot to improve but he's head and shoulders above the version of Khan that was lying on the mat unconscious.

The thing with Roach is I think he's training too many fighters. Roach looks pretty bad right now, as far as his health goes. He also trains anyone who comes to him as he doesn't seem to care who it is from Pacquiao to Khan to Chavez jr to Linares to straight up bums you'll never see on TV, he's spreading himself pretty thin and I think with his health deteriorating the way it is he should hire some more guys to take care of the bulk of the workload.

WARD-FROCH FINAL PRESSER QUOTES
By John McCormick

An atmosphere of urgency and relief could be sensed in the air at the final press conference held for Saturday night’s Super Six World Boxing Classic Final between Andre Ward and Carl Froch. The tournament has lasted two years, and two months. Eleven fights amongst eight fighters, cancellations, multiple promoter disputes, and just about every type of ending that can be seen in a boxing ring has paved the way to this Saturday night. The tournament was originally designed to match the best fighters against the best fighters, accelerate the pace in which these fighters would’ve fought each other, and to give boxing fans a steady diet of compelling matchups.

Carl Froch the WBC Super Middleweight Champion, who holds a record of 3-1 in the tournament appeared confident going into the biggest fight of his life on Saturday night. “I want to keep it brief. Very brief. The time for talking is over. I will do my talking on Saturday. It is a cliché but trust me, I guarantee my fans will not be disappointed, I am in the best shape of my life, I have been underweight for a few weeks now, and I am sharp. I am here only to win this tournament, win these belts, and the super six trophy. “claimed Froch.

In regards to the recent controversy surrounding Amir Khan’s loss in Washington D.C. this past weekend, Robert McCracken, Froch’s trainer is not worried about fighting abroad here in the United States by saying “We have had good experiences here in the U.S., and in Atlantic City before, and I am confident that I will get a fair crack of the whip on Saturday.” McCracken also went on to say “I’m very proud of Carl, he has a very good resume, and he’s fought some of the best fighters on the planet. I enjoy watching Andre Ward he’s a great fighter, but Carl Froch is a real prizefighter. Andre and Virgil stated that Kessler, Abraham and other fighters stopped fighting half way through, but I guarantee you that will not be the story on Saturday night with Carl Froch.”

Andre Ward, the undefeated WBA Super Middleweight Champion once again stuck to his good guy persona. “There has been too much talk in my opinion. My favorite time is when it’s time to get down and show down. Froch is the self-proclaimed best fighter in England, and I want to fight the best. I am extremely well prepared physically and mentally. Many people say that I’m the favorite. I’m not the favorite, I still have a chip on my shoulder and that’s how I prepare. Many question my toughness and my physicality, and I’m hoping to come in and squeak out my victory. I don’t plan to squeak out a victory, I plan to take it. Froch has claimed that I am ignorant for taking on the nickname the “Son of God”, my faith is not my crutch, my faith is my foundation. Neither of our prior fights matter, all that matters is Saturday night. If Froch beats me there will be no excuses, if I beat Froch no excuses. No judges, no referee, no nothing, no excuses.” claimed Ward.

Virgil Hunter, trainer of Andre Ward believes that Saturday night will be a very familiar fight for Ward. “Andre has his bags packed, all his sightseeing items, and is ready to see what trip Carl brings him on. A little into the trip, I am sure Andre will recognize the terrain, and realize he has been on this trip many times before.” said Hunter.

When both fighters were asked if they feel that a win over Lucian Bute after this fight would clear all doubts in the minds of boxing fans in regards to the best Super Middleweight in the world, both Andre Ward and Carl Froch finally agreed on something. “Lucian Bute hasn’t fought anybody. He got knocked out in the 12th round in one of his fights and the referee picked him up, and let him continue.” claimed Froch. In response to Froch’s remarks, Ward stated “I agree. No disrespect to Lucian Bute but he isn’t in the mix. The winner of this fight is the best super middleweight in the world. Bute has been fighting B- and C+ fighters”.

Froch lost to Dirrell, i dont even think thats debatable. He obviously was handed the L against Kessler. Hes got some skills but still hasnt outboxed anybody worth noting who isn't old or flat out wasnt the same fighter in Taylor that he once was. Froch shouldnt even be in the finals as far as I'm concerned but injuries mainly is the reason he even made it this far in the tournament

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: VIRGIL HUNTER
By John McCormick

JM: Is there one specific trait of Carl Froch that you are worried about going into Saturday night? “We always have our concerns. You better have your concerns. Once the fight starts, we have to go with all our tactics, and all our abilities that we cultivated over the course of training camp to win. Most of the concerns will be revealed in the fight, and since we have covered everything, we will have an answer, and an adjustment to anything that comes our way. We are prepared in such a way, that if certain things arise, we can make an adjustment, and have an answer right away for it.”

JM: Ward has fought some great opposition throughout this entire tournament. Would you consider Carl Froch to be the toughest opponent of his career up to this point?
Virgil Hunter: “It’s hard to say, particularly if you haven’t fought him yet. I think the most accurate answer would be after the fight. It’s hard to say since styles make fights. It could turn out to be the toughest fight of his career, or it can turn out to be a piece of cake. If you ask me after the fight, I’d be able to give you a better answer.”

JM: Do you expect any of the mind games that you have played with Carl Froch to affect his performance in the ring on Saturday?
Virgil Hunter: “There are always different types of tensions for both fighters. That is something that they have to learn to overcome. The one who can put it in its proper perspective, put it where it belongs, feed off of it, and perform off of it is the one who will handle it the best way. Quite naturally, Froch is subjected to a lot of tension, and a lot of worries regardless of what comes out of his mouth. He must have a lot of concerns on his mind, because he is going into the arena of the unknown. “

JM: Has there been any changes for this training camp compared to Andre’s past training camps?
Virgil Hunter: “No, not really. Once you have got to this level that Andre has got to, you have to stick with what is working. It is up to the other guy to prove that you may have to take an alternate course. If it’s not broke, don’t try to fix it. So far we have had that luxury, but if it does get broke, we have roadside service in place. Whatever may need to be done on the side, and whatever tools we may need to get it done we will have on hand.”

JM: What are your thoughts on Lucian Bute?
Virgil Hunter: “I think Lucian Bute is a heck of a fighter. I think right now the wave that he is riding and the type of people he is fighting he is doing what he is supposed to do. You can’t take anything away from him. A lot of people think he’s right up there near the top, and who could argue that?”

JM: If Andre wins Saturday night, do you believe a Ward-Bute fight must happen?
Virgil Hunter: “I’m sure somewhere down the road that fight will take place. It has to. If the fans demand it, and the boxing world demands it then why not. It’s a business, so hopefully when it’s done; it will be done at the right time, where it benefits both guys. That fight is inevitable if he continues to win.”

JM: What are your predictions for Saturday night?
Virgil Hunter:” I predict a dominant victory.”

I had dirrell winning but I acknowledge it was pretty close and I think Froch has came a long way since then despite losing a very close one to Kessler. I mean, I just can't deny his resume, he's got one of the best in all of boxing:

Jean Pascal UD
Jermain Taylor TKO
Andre Dirrell SD (controversial)
Mikkel Kessler UD Loss (controversial)
Arthur Abraham UD
Glen Johnson UD

That is a hell of a gauntlet of opponents he's faced back to back, with no soft tune ups in between, so regardless if he should have lost to dirrell or whatever the man deserves a ton of respect based on resume alone.

I think Ward wins too and I'm certainly going for the baby bernard hopkins, but I actually think Froch will surprise people and will fight Ward a lot tougher than people think. He's got an iron chin, fantastic stamina, has some boxing skills and has that swagger, that insane confidence in himself that makes him think he can win no matter what, so I'll never count him out completely.

I feel like I have to root for Ward by default, but Froch has grown on me quite a bit since I felt like he got a gift decision against Dirrell.
