Actually if u takeaway all the point deductions (1 from Peterson first round & 2 pushing points from Khan) the fight wouldve been ruled a majority draw which is about how I saw the fight as a draw myself. Either way Khan showed he isnt ready for the big boys at 147 or even Bradley for that matter. Got Em!!
Why would you take away the 10-8 round from Khan? He scored a knockdown, it wasn't an egregious point deduction.

naner what are you thoughts on cotto/margarito and Helenius/Chisora?
My bad just saw this. Cotto/Margarito went like I thought the first fight would go. I don't like the stoppage much in that fight only because I think the decision was based on Margarito's previous eye condition and you shouldn't sanction a guy to fight if you have to handicap him in the fight. If Margarito didn't have all that controversy with his eye going into it that fight never gets stopped, and that's simply not right.

As for Helenius/Chisora, I wasn't at home to watch it and after I heard the result and read that it was a robbery I'm not all that interested in watching it. I may check it out one day when I'm bored as I downloaded it but don't really care to sit down and watch something I know is going to be a terrible decision.

you should watch it at least to check out Chisora, I was very impressed with him he looked like a completely different fighter. Kinda reminded me of joe fraizer believe or not, just the style that is and his relentless pressure. He had no stamina issues at all.

Ummm maybe u take away the 10-8 round because he never knocked him down! How is that? Got Em!!
Ummm you may want to rewatch that. Khan landed a punch, Peterson's positioning lowered then the legs got tangled up and he was ruled down. That's arguable at best but the fact that a punch landed makes it a legit to rule a knockdown.

Khan was robbed
Khan was exposed (not completely but enough for the A-level 147'ers & definitely Bradley)
Khan's pushing was a shove, and strategic. He'd combo then push off and be runnin b4 Lamont rushed back
I dont care about how any other boxer pushed off, but Khan runs literally, and he needs that push off to do so.
Against a strong 147lb fighter Khan gets timed and KTFO when he tries to push off with both hands extended
Peterson got lucky at the right time
Peterson will get KO'd by an A-level fighter soon enough
Khan moves up to 147 and loses his luster, but still a draw

Did anyone else notice how that ref looked like a dumb ass when they into'd him at the start of the fight?

Man I dont need to watch anything over. I know what I saw and even heard what the commentators were saying. It was obvious there wasnt a knockdown there. They gave him the point, oh well. He lost two points for pushing constantly, oh well. Got Em!!

Segura To Remain in Hospital With a Broken Orbital Bone

By Miguel Rivera

According to a report on TV Azteca, Mexico's Giovani Segura will remain hospitalized in the Philippines after the eight round technical knockout he suffered on Sunday [Manila time] in his fight with WBO flyweight Brian Viloria. After the fight was over, Segura was taken to a local hospital. During the fight, Segura had very bad swelling on the right side of his face with his eye swelling shut. The boxer's team members report that he suffered a broken orbital bone early in the fight and it affected his performance until the end.

Khan was running a lot. I don't like that, and he was doing it much more than his previous fights. I don't know if its him, or Roach telling him to do so. Khan looks like he leaned out too much as well. Lost a ton of strength.

Everyone pushes off. That doesn't make it right, but 2 point deductions is an overkill.

Segura lost. Sucks...

It's funny that the fight people was saying is going to be boring turned out to be a great boxing match. Khan was running and headlocking all night. You can win a fight running all night. It's funny to hear the same people talking about Manny beat Marquez because he was coming forward all night, change their tune when Peterson got the win coming forward all night.

I didn't think it would be a good fight because Peterson has never fought that aggressive before. He surprised me and i give him props. And i dont know why every single fight has to relate to pac or floyd with u, its annoying.

One thing Khan proved to me is that he has a chin...He took some hard shots and didnt budge...That was a GREAT fight in my opinion last night..Sure it had some controversy and you can make a valid argument for each fighter....I was glued to the tv last night during this fight and happy to see such a good fight....Rematch for sure...Khan stepped out his comfort zone and went to Lamonts house...

This is what Lucian Bute needs to do in order for me to accept what hes doing....Bute fight in front of his home crowd all the damn time agianst has been fighters like miranda and glenn jhonson...Well miranda never was a top tier guy but he was a tough son of a bitch.....

Once agian that was a great fight last night and i am looking forward to the rematch. These 2 guys came into that fight in top notch shape and ready to go
