too soon naner......

However, during his chat session today on ESPN, boxing scribe Dan Rafael announced that Atlas will be taking a leave of absence from FNF for the rest of the season to train Povetkin. Atlas will be replaced by middleweight contender Sergio Mora as FNF boxing analyst for the remainder of the season.

Mora will take over this Friday night alongside Joe Tessitore, while Atlas heads to Russia to prepare Povetkin for his title shot.
That sucks. Povetkin needs to ditch Atlas in a hurry. I wouldn't exactly call Atlas a terrible trainer but I do think he needs a certain kind of person to be successful with them and Povetkin isn't that kind of person..

Povetkin went from beating former champ Chris Byrd and undefeated contender Eddie Chambers to getting with Atlas and struggling against guys like Firtha. What a shame..

yall are putting to much on it lol. Yall forget that he trained Michael Moorer to beat Holyfield, that was a major accomplishment. Povetkin is still undefeated right. Its all about matchups. Povetkin may end up being the one in the heavyweight division

He also trained Moorer to get ruined by Foreman and shit the bed against Schulz. Atlas shines with guys that are mentally fragile. If you've followed Povetkin's career, not just watching highlight videos, and you can tell me with a straight face that he hasn't declined in every fashion inside the ring since hooking up with Atlas then we have completely different opinions of progression.

Not to mention the fact that was only Atlas' second fight with Moorer, Moorer's base came from Steward.

He's like 32 years old he doesn't have all the time on the world. And yeah moorer beat holyfield that was his great moment and really only one. He and moorer ended up hating eachother just like pretty much everyone else he's worked with. I just don't think he's a top trainer or a very good one tbh

Some drama brewin lol some funny shit about tonights card (fight breaks out between both camps)

August 5
At Santa Ynez, Calif. (ESPN2): Tim Coleman vs. Vernon Paris,

TIM COLEMAN: Vernon smokes crack!!

"'He made some comments about he gonna smash me. Yeah, he gonna smash me just like I smashed his girl when she came out here a couple of weeks ago and he kept calling her like crazy. He was like, 'You gonna try to play me with Tim Coleman?' Of course she is because she want a real man...Vernon is an asshole. He's been shot and stabbed by kids that train in his gym (laughing). Yo, I talked to one of his cousins that shot him and they shot him over some crack. Vernon smokes crack...He can't fight, he's got no power and Floyd Sr. left his camp because he smokes crack...When I see his bitch ass at the weigh-ins, he better hope to God that they keep me out of arms reach because I'm going to smack him in the mouth...This shit done got personal, man. Put this shit up Percy,' stated an extremely pissed off Tim Coleman, who had A LOT to say about Vernon Paris just days before their showdown this Friday on Friday Night Fights. Saying this just got personal is understatement. You definitely don't want to miss what else he had to say! Check it out!"

FISTS FLY EARLY AS A BRAWL BREAKS OUT BETWEEN THE CAMPS OF VERNON PARIS AND TIM COLEMAN

According to Paris, he spotted Coleman in the lobby of the casino, approached him, with an entourage of about 20 deep, and said, "Hey nigga, tomorrow we're gonna get that shit off our chests." At which point, Coleman responded with some comments that, evidently, members of Vernon's entourage did not appreciate. As members of both camps starting going back and forth with each other, seconds later, an all-out brawl erupted. Although Paris and Coleman went unscathed, several other people involved in the brawl were banged up before police could bring an end to it.

yeah that's Paris. I didn't see it, but his last fight was against the drunken master Augustus. I had read he won by robbery (or maybe it was that it was a lot closer than the scorecards indicated, I cant recall). Coleman is clownin though with the crackhead remarks. Wonder if there is any truth to it or not (paris do be lookin like he sucks the glass pipe lol). Coleman has looked pretty impressive his last couple fights.

LOL. Paris beat his ass. Paris needs to get a new fight picture without that gay ass mohawk. Coleman talked that good shit and paid for it with body shots.
