I think Morales has an extremely slim chance of winning, Katsidis knocks Guerrero out, Malignaggi decisions Cotto and thinks he's the greatest after it talking about how if he was in that good of shape for previous fights he would've done much better and Kirkland crushes Ishida.

Ze Germans sure know how to promote their fighters as gods:

A little artistic license used by German TV network Sat.1 promoting their boxing broadcast on Saturday night featuring the fourth title defense WBO super middleweight champion Robert Stieglitz against Khoren Gevor, taking place in Stieglitz’ hometown of Magdeburg.

honestly that's the only thing that's been lacking from his game lately - not finishing off his opponent when he has the chance. If he cant start doing that, not only is it better (cuz you don't want to let your opponent stay in the fight and give him chances) his popularity will skyrocket.
I brought this up before but he was relentless until his wife got sick that second time. He looked noticably preoccupied in the ring. He didn't look "normal" to me until his last fight. Understandably so with what was going on in his life. Maybe I'm wrong but that's what I'd noticed. He had a mean kayo streak until she got sick the 2nd time.

He also moved up 2 weightclasses so maybe that played into it? He had the punching power but it was like he just wasn't comfortable in there

That's a dope ad. I'm normally not a fan of German based fighters but I do like Stieglitz. He doesn't fight like the normal type fighter over there and I've rarely seen him in a boring fight. I think he'd get crushed any SMW in the tournament which is why his management wants no part of Bute or anyone else but he's fun to watch regardless.

I think I might background that picture.

anyone else have a feeling that Kirkland is gonna lay his opponent out or have a much tougher fight than he expected
I think he'll win by KO but he might struggle at first as Ishida SEEMS to be pretty durable, he's never been stopped before. He also fought and lost narrowly twice to my favorite all time Japanese fighter Crazy Tiger Kim.

Kirkland isn't anywhere near where he needs to be yet. In his last fight he kinda got rocked in the first round a bit because he was overly aggressive. He needs to slow it down a little bit and fight a bit smarter. Still gotta be a beast just more thinking.

Ishida's showed durable but he's never fought close to this caliber of puncher and coupled with the fact that Ishida's hit the deck against lesser fighters I think he gets blown down here.

I hope Morales doesn't get killed I don't want to see another legend laid out asleep. I hope Katsidis wins because dude is a true warrior, but I want to see Guerrero go in for the kill like the old days. Good weekend of fights.

Did Alvarez knock him down? I don't remember. Only fight I've seen from Ishida.
Yeah Alvarez put him down. I've seen a few of his fights when they've been televised on Japanese broadcasts (usually tied into a bigger main event) which isn't much but he was also on the canvas in one of those.

Place some on Morales, backing it with the Over 9.5
As long as Maidana doesn't get the KO under 9.5, I'm at a plus figure.

Also, I changed my mind. Placed on Guerrero.

Haha, Paulie is funny. That's just his style...

Anyone watch any of the Japanese card from this morning? Just finished watching Hasegawa Vs. Gonzalez and I'd check it out if you have a chance. Gonzalez is clean proof of how ridiculous people sound when they call certain people "shot" or "damaged" after a bad KO or stoppage loss.

After getting completely crushed by a Nishioka overhand left Gonzalez moved up in weight and strung together a nice little streak including to KOs over top 10 ranked Asiku and now a one punch KO of Hasegawa. And it's not the first time Gonzalez fought his way back to the top after losing .. much props.

You're not done till you're done..
