This may be the last shot at the top for Alfredo Angulo, he has had many chances to emerge from the ranks of just a contender. A shocking loss to Kermit Cintron and then a devastating defeat at the hands of James Kirkland, it was time for him to change his attitude and corner. After a year long battle with a deportation center, he returned but has been fighting off the rust that the time of absent has added to him. Saul Canelo Alvarez has noticed the rust and now feels as if he can defeat the proud warrior.
In his last fight Angulo faced off against the sharp punching, slick Cuban fighter Erislandy Lara. The fight started fast for lara while, Angulo looked slow and late on shots, using good body work he kept lara in front of him and dropped him twice in the fight. The first time anyone has ever done that to Lara. Angulo pressed for the victory but a shot to the eye stopped the fight and Lara was awarded the victory. I have those fights on DVD too actually. Been forever since I watched them. I knew what happened in the first before I watched it. The 2nd was so boring until the end but I was cracking up. I couldn't believe he did it again damn near

Stevenson To Kovalev: Nobody Scared of Your Sorry Ass!

Reacting to a recent story on BoxingScene.com, WBC middleweight champion Adonis Stevenson (23-1, 20KOs) shredded WBO counterpart Sergey Kovalev (23-0-1, 21KOs). On Friday, BoxingScene ran an article where Kovalev questioned the heart of Stevenson. "The Krusher" said if Stevenson defeats Andrzej Fonfara on May 24th and then rejects a potential September unification - it would then clearly prove that he was scared.
"Right now I have my match against Cedric Agnew, and that's the only thing I'm focusing on. And Stevenson, I can only say that if he refuses to fight with me [after I beat Agnew], then he is a coward and not a world champion," Kovalev said.
Stevenson, who recently signed with powerful boxing adviser Al Haymon, lashed out at Kovalev with a vicious attack.
"First of all, lets make it clear! No one is scare of your sorry ass!! I fight for a living and in order to live in this world we need money! So i fight for money! If the money is right I will be more then glad to come give you a good ass whooping in the ring. Beside having power you have nothing special! Your defense is terrible and it wont be to hard to find your big ugly head with that long ass chin! They can hype your name in the boxing world as much as they want to but at the end of the day is how much you are getting paid that matter! While I will fight for millions you will keep fighting for thousand and keep begging me to fight you so your broke ass can make some money! Skill pay the bills! The more skill you have the more you get pay. So as I can see you don't have to much of it because your ass is still broke," Stevenson blasted out.
And the Canadian star also had some words for Kovalev's trainer, John David Jackson.
"You just talking sh*t because your broke ass needs to make some money. By the way we are in 2014. Go get a damn hair cut! That corny ass jheri curl that you have is out of date! You look like Tarzan."

Nobody really thought much of it until a Twitter Follower asked Ms Jackson why she was not at the game with Floyd Mayweather. Her response was not what we expected.
Well we know she meant to type "seat" instead of sit. According to her it seems like Floyd is trying to make her jealous. We don't know if it's business or just what she is making it out to be.
