agreed mane but i'd advise him going down to 140. it's no way he can fight like this with the punchers at 147 and I thought he was pretty classless in the post-fight interview. Paulie congratulated him, but he kept talking trash.

This was a weak ass fight and for if Broner won or not doesn't matter. First off, Broner won a split decision, so for a judge to have it 117-111 anyone can question it, plus the experts ,aka commentators, questioned it right

? Secondly, I expected Broner to destroy Paulie but he didn't do shit to paulie. and if anything paulie is right, he made Broner look like a boxer with just some talent. All bullshit aside, the fight could have gone either way, so I'm not made at the decision. But this fight made Broner a loser in any other fight vs a 140-147lber. I think he'll get Josesito next and Broner will get ate up.

Marcos Maidana is looking for a title shot at welterweight, and new WBA titlist Adrien Broner is in his sights. Maidana took to Twitter to confirm that he wants to take on the young star, and win a second world title.

Maidana (34-3, 31 KO) last fought on June 8, beating Josesito Lopez in an exciting Showtime main event from the Home Depot Center in California. Broner (27-0, 22 KO) beat Paulie Malignaggi last night on Showtime, and said after the fight that he's open to bouts anywhere from 135 to 147. Broner does still hold the WBC lightweight title, and there are plenty of fights for him at any weight, including a lot of Golden Boy and Golden Boy associated names at 140 pounds.
Will Broner fight Maidana? Some might expect with his speed and ability, Broner could make easier work of Maidana than he did Malignaggi, but there's also the factor of Maidana's power, which is obviously much greater than Malignaggi's.

what do you mean there is no controversy, all people are talking about is how close this fight was and how Broner didn't impress no one. Paulie is beyond passed his prime and even I thought Broner should have destroyed him, but he didn't. And that's a fact. Shit, Paulie was a champ and no one gave a fuck, so why now, cuz Broner is a title holder of a belt that Floyd don't even acknowledge either? Please

People may not have been impressed with Broner but there hasnt been much bickering about him losing that fight like in the Canelo fight. Thats all I am saying. Its all good as we can all bash both Broner and Canelo but until either loses its a moot point. They are both undefeated so lets see who loses first. Got Em!!
