iono what you talkin about lil brah... but my ipod is full of hot new music and a lot of it is from the Bay.

the bottom line is if you look for it, youll find it. theres plenty of hungry artists out their pushin their line and making dope music and videos but yall arent taking the time to go out of your way to look for em. lot of people whine about how the music quality has gone down but dont do shit to support the people who are really trying to make moves.

i cant really understand how people are still trying to bring back that old school mobb sound in 2011. i mean thats the sit i was raised on but some of yall are really just stuck in 96. quit being closed minded to different shit. at the same time our mobb sound was an original sound and i will agree that these days a lot of cats are copying what's hot right now- but that shits been going on since the beginning of time!! (by the way there's plenty of new mobb music, it just doesnt sound exactly the same as it did in the 90s)

if youre not fucking with ALL The different shit coming out of the Bay- from Roach Gigz to Zion I to DaVinci to Hieroglyphics to DJ Fresh's Tonite Shows- then you're really not supporting Bay music and probably dont even really know what youre talking about

People have to realize that the form of "Bay Music" that ya'll are looking for is basically adult contemporary at this point. We cannot bring back the mid 90's all we can do is appreciate the great albums that were made then and continue to support the artist that made those albums cuz they are still active today. As far as the music of today as long as the target audience is into it then the artist are doing something right. If you don't like it then you are most likely not the target audience.

I will not try n promote myself or folks I know "peep him or them" on this topic because right now nothing matters in music out here. The Bay is not a factor at all. The Hyphy Movement was dumb. Why does the bay always need some corny ass movement? We are so diverse as a whole...meaning as a people but when it comes to the music we are very smoked out and all just about either sound the same or sound like some muppets. And then when someone sounds original and fresh....everyone hates on them out here. its crazy but understandable. listen..... rappers that sound dumb are praised in the industry.
