To say the least, most rappers in the bay don't have the creativity to make decent rap song. They all sound the same. They all rap about the same shit and the same stories about being so hard and rich and having so many bitch and so on. No one cares. One thing I miss is MAC DRE's description in his raps, with some comedy in them.... Who else can do that. Ill buy there cd right away.

I hear plenty of good music coming out the bay.

The way I see it, there's a few things u can do.

1) Start a thread on siccness complaining about Bay Area music
2) Stop listening to Bay Area music
3) Make a thread about who people think are the dopest out the Bay and see if there's good music you've slept on
4) Do something about it.. meaning find some good artists and help them get heard.

Outta those... I think #1 is the weakest choice.. unless this thread causes rappers to step their game up... but most likely it wont.

I've been down south for only a week and the main difference I've noticed is they SUPPORT THEY OWN DOWN HERE whether it sucks or not. Niggas could start making mind-blowing music but if ppl dont support it, it dont matter anyway. You turn on the radio out here and all you hear is local music. PERIOD. Support your own, help them help themselves and the quality of music will get better. One way or another.....
