Battlefield 1943 is one of the best downloadable titles currently available, but some fans of the series have opted to wait until Battlefield: Bad Company 2 arrives (possibly later this year).

That's understandable, but did you realize that EA and DICE may be tying the two games together in a certain way? It's difficult to interpret the exact meaning of a recent Tweet on the OfficialBF1943 Twitter page, but it may indicate some sort of future connectivity between the titles in question. Here's the message that has turned a few heads:

"Think you're a Bad Ass with BF1943 weapons? What if I said you'll be able to use your Semi-Auto Rifle, Sniper Rifle, or SMG in BFBC2!"

Now, this may only be a little incentive to play BF1943 because you'll see the same weapons in Bad Company 2, but it certainly begs the question: might there be actual gameplay tie-ins? If you perform well enough in one, might you receive a small reward or bonus of some kind in the other? It's kinda weird, as one uses a completely different setting (we're talking about two different wars, here), but leave it to EA to make a connection to entice gamers. Battlefield 1943 really is good, and now we're wondering if we should play it a little more to "prepare" for Bad Company 2...or something like that. Oh, those sneaky PR guys...

If u like COD stick with that.. If u dont like COD (like me) or you're looking to give it a break or w/e then this games for you..

The online is all i played.. I really loved the vehicles and the mortor was hella fun too use.. The weapon unlock/ranking system is a good touch (something i hope they expand on in #2.) Theres character classes which is something i always enjoy..

I'am pretty positive theres still people playing it.. I stopped playin it right b4 Gears 2 came out and i found full games all the time.. But that was a few months ago.

Played that shit for a few months straight got up to like a few thoudsans kills im sure.

bfbc is a dope game but imo you cant compare cod4 or waw to bfbc bc they are 2 different games. bf games have always been dope, the first game i got hooked on was bf:v and from there bf 2142 was the shit.

I kinda gave up on the BF franchise after 1942 (Ya, that long ago). It was mainly due to the shitty release of Vietnam, and the expansions to the original 1942. I did buy 2142, but it runs like shit on my computer so I havent messed with it much. BUT I did buy that 1943 on XBL, and its reminding me why 1942 was the first game I took SUPER competitively... Maybe Ill have to jump back into the series this time round.

New CG trailer doesnt show much though. One interesting thing though is in part two they have a new system to communicate with your team. Say you and two friends are playing and your in your own private chat, you will have the option to also talk to your entire team, so you can tell them were enemies are and such, then go back and only talk to your friends, there will be a dedicated button for this as well.

Here is a link to a bunch of info on part 2 as well, some things very limited like only 8 maps?? And there bringing the guns from 1943 into bad company 2 etc..
