Yes, like the 95% of African-Americans in this country that voted for Obama? That is a staggering number. If 95% of white people ever voted for any one candidate, there would be a national inquisition!! I am only saying that it appears from those numbers that this group of voters was voting mainly based on race. I am not trying to be racist, because that's not who I am. I am simply trying to make a point.

People voted mainly for Barry because they want to get as far away from Bush as possible, and they believed in his "change" mantra. When one sees how minorites voted, including Hispanics, it makes one wonder if everyone was really "thinking for themselves," as you have suggested.

.
This is why the republicans don't know how to run a campaign. When the Mccain campaign let Sarah Palin say that little line about how community organizing isn't a real job and doesn't do anything, they basically gave up trying to reach out to minorities. Even Bush was able to get more of the latino vote than Mccain. By the Mccain campaign having their rallies out in rural america where red necks lived, it showed whose vote only mattered to them. Barrack couldn't win the election with only the African American vote that is why he tried to reach out to all races not to mention younger voters.

For the attacking obama was saying mccain and bush are alike cuz of policy. Mccain was saying Obama's character can't be trusted. Difference in attacking on policy rather than character. But like you said the country has chosen and everyone needs to support him

Huckabee fan, huh? He's a nice man. Same guy on tv as he is in real life. I respect him for that.

Yeah, I wanted him to win the nomination this year. But, I don't think anyone was going to stop Barry from winning. I could be wrong, tho. I now think that the party needs a really strong candidate in 2012, and as long as the Dems don't screw stuff up too bad, I think Barry could get re-elected fairly easily.

But right now, I'm liking Huckabee. Most people want Mrs. Palin to run in 2012, which she probably will, but I would prefer someone else. She needs a lot of practice before she runs again, and even then, I don't know if it will be good enough. But, people are drawn to her for some reason. :ermm:

Fuck the president election lets vote the heads of CIA,NSA, and FBI to keep another MK ULTRA from happening "As if that's possible" Point being people bicker over dem and rep beliefs when well documented abuses of power are proved to us years after the fact and we ignore it/take it as a isolated incidents ....What happened to the time where people actually came together for a common cause to stand up against the government ie 70's...Were either to self absorbed with "our own problems" and divided as a whole to ever see this happen..Alright LDS tear it up I'm sure you can spin it..
Right you see how that worked out. Just like what tech and how the old sayin goes "Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely" Even if people stood up to the government it would still be corrupt all you can do is hope for the best
