there are alot of valid points i agree with YET
im suspicious when a muthafuka acts like he was squeaky clean in a filthy situation...
should b more like "yea, there were sum mistakes i made, sum shysty shit i did,
but i am not the total monster yall make me out 2 b..."

CED, I would love 2 give u the benefit of the doubt & fresh start u obviously want.
Only there are a few things that begs 2 b answered.

How PROFESSIONAL is it, when he wouldnt turn in music 2 u,
to get goons 2 run up in the mans house & have all his family @ gunpoint?

Or break into Phonk Betas car and house numerous times trying to get a hold of music they were working on?
Beta had no contract with you, why fuk up his livelyhood?

If it was only LYNCH, why did the main producer from Xs label
just sit here ON THIS THREAD state that X hasnt been paid in over 10 years?
doesnt matter if he didnt want anything else, he still deserved those royalties rite?

All that being said, i thank you for being the conduit that gave us so much good music in the 90s.
I hope whatever it was that plagued ur business in the past doesnt make it to u in your future ventures.

Black Market was the shit..... havent heard any new stuff (just the new Bo samples and a few Non BMR BTR tracks) but i dont expect it to be Like the stuff we all heard them put out in the past. Dont matter tho. I like the fact that the label is still doin their thing with fresh new artists and keepin it gangtsa like BMR always has. Bandanna shit i heard from you has been good. keep it up. fuck the haters. I support the underground cause thats where i came from.

If Lynch didn't complete his contract, then he shouldn't get paid, right?

Also a lot of you are acting like Lynch is some kind of angel and he was done wrong. What about the rappers on his label or that were on his label, Lynch rarely puts their albums out, they always say "coming soon", he lags and a lot of the albums don't come out. When they do come out, do u see Lynch putting out money to promote their albums? Nope, that's why they barley sale anything. I've been to a couple of the Dimple Records in Sacramento and Davis to look for The California Bear Gang album and they don't have it, they're from Sac and that's bullshit!

By the way I'm a BIG Lynch fan and always buys his albums the day they drop, so don't think I'm Lynch hater.

You've never dealt with any type of business have you? Lynch has a bunch of artist or should I say artist in the past that were friends. So he was trying to help them out and be nice. But deep inside Lynch knew they couldn't sell records. So why should he lose money by putting out artist that wont sell albums? Their roster is much better now and I think Madesicc is going in the right direction but your statement is simple. Lynch would have lost money and did lose money by putting out certain projects just because they were his folks. . .

Actually I have and I know the music business pretty well. I worked at Bayside Ent. Dist. and I've worked with most labels from Sacramento to the Bay since 1998 and I'm talking labels with Hollow Tip, Mic C, Ballin' A$$ Dame, Young Droop, Greedy, Dre D, MAK, First Degree, Smoov-E, Andre Nickatina, Equipto, Rick Rock, The Federation, Loki, Smigg Dirtee, M-Dash, Young Dru, Jay Tee, TayDaTay of 11/5, Sleep Dank, Coolio Da Undadogg, PSD, Big Hollis, Balance and a lot more.

I understand that friends have fallouts, but if has an artist work on their album and then decides not to put it out, he'll most likely burn bridges. Yea right now he does have a good roster, I agree with you about that, but I really hope he actually puts their album out. Everyone knows Lynch lags on his release dates, I'm glad he's on Strange because they're good with putting out albums on time. When was Gas Station 2 supposed to come out? About a year ago? Since he's been on Strange he's only put out The California Bear Gang, do you really think he made money off of that album? Shit I'm still looking for that album, I went to Dimples in Sac on Broadway and in Davis today and didn't find it. He has to make sure the albums hes putting out are in stores. Also I heard the Devious is out on Itunes, but they don't have a release date for the store copy. Like I said before I'm a big Lynch fan, but I hate that it's hard to find albums from artist on his label. He has to use his name and actually work and follow thru on a good marketing plan so his artist get more known. Especially know a days, there's so many rappers out there, he has to do something that will make his artist shine, if he can't do that they his going to continue to lose money on artist that are puts out on his label.

i dunno if that was directed @ what i posted, but im with u on that. Lynch albums actually dropped on BMR.
everybody is aware of MADEISCCs history of release dates and business.
i wasnt arguing any of that. none of that was on the table.
in fact, u will see that i started off my post stating that when ppl act is if they did NOTHING wrong
in a situation like that i dont believe them.

just as an fyi: as for the completing his contract to get paid part, thats the problem.
Lynch said when he 1st signed, he realized that CED was tryna get BMR off the ground.
told him to just make sure his rent was paid and that he had groceries.
then he took off doing shows 4 24 DEEP and wasnt aware all these records were selling.
found out n wasnt getting paid for them, and it continued thru SOTS.
After which, he decided he wasnt gonna turn music in again without getting paid.

I didn't say anything about Lynch having fallouts with his artist. I meant some of his artist weren't that talented and he put em on cause they were folks. But knew deep inside they would never sell any records. As far as the Calafornia Bear Gang I got my copy along with DVS and G-Macc. . .
