The reason somebody would do a deal with me my records speak for it's self. Brotha Lynch on Black Market I put over $1,000,000 in his pocket. Season of The Siccness sold 1,000,000 copies. Loaded 400,000, 24 Deep 500.000, Brotha Lynch on Strange Music 20,000 cds. That why!!!!!!!!!!!!
If that's true, which I;m not saying your lying, but if that's true RIGHT ON! But for you to throw out number's like lynch only selling 20k copies on Stange as opposed to your 1,000,000 copies of SOTS is kind of unfair. You have to take into consideration his level of buzz back in the 90's when those dropped, and his buzz now, which now is next to nothing. Im just saying.

The record sells for the 24 deep and sots was something that happen with time from release til now,not over night, plus I'm pretty sure Ced learn from his mistakes(if any were made),besides he is making a very good point with the sales thing strange is bigger than BMR and has more exposure and promote a lot more,Glad to see BMR starting to release shit again been to long, and congrats on your deal Bandana....

dope! Glad Ced is putting it down again. PPl can say waht they want about BMR, but, aside from AWOL their label was a big part of puttin Sac on the map... If some artists didn't get paid they probably didn't have there paper work right... Lynch is the only former BMR artist that say somethign negative about BMR.. from my understanding most of them sac rappers in the 90's got paid.

Season of the Sicc didnt go platinum did it??? I didnt hear of 24 deep going gold either. Cedsing still lying through his teeth i see
I used those numbers to compare not for you to account Mr. Price & Waterhouse. But I will break it down for you bud. When we left Priority in 1998 Season had sold around 450,000 units. It biggest week was around 9000 units but it never sold less than 1000 units a week for 15 years. These figures don't include downloads but they count also. 24 Deep was an EP not an album it is around 500,000 not sure to be honest but it is really close. It was released in 1993 and it is still selling don't forget the downloads. It is more likely over 500,000 than under. I sold 32,000 EBK4 in the 1st week. Any way when did I lie to you punk?????

I agree it is not completely fair. It was a different time. That buzz you speak of was created by us with little money. At Strange, Lynch is not the man. Tech 9 is. Lynch is saying they ain't paying him, really? I am glad there is a snap shot of Lynch on Black Market and after. Lynch could have been a giant at Rap. In my opinion he was one of the best.

I made a mistake early in the game after Lynch's first album 24 Deep. It had to do with Publishing royalties. At that time I didn't understand them. We renegotiated a new contract and I gave Lynch with the help of Priority $225,000. I also negotiated with Priority to pay Lynch royalties directly to Lynch so there would never be another issue about him getting his money. Lynch wanted to leave Black Market for a larger label that was his motivation. He lied. After I did another deal with Tommy Boy they advance Black Market $115,000. I gave Lynch $10,000 that I did not owe him. Tommy Boy was prepared to pump 200,000 more into the Lynch album and he refused to finished the album. It had nothing to do with him getting paid. Again he would be paid by Tommy Boy but he chose to try to destroy Black Market because Priority was in his ear saying they could do better. Talked to anybody that worked at Black Market or the artist. I paid artist royalties and publishing. Lynch dissed Black Market and Me because he could not get out of his contract.

The 91Sicc is getting interesting again. Good shit.

Now we just need some quality Sac Rap from X, Lynch, C-Bo, T-Nutty, CWay etc.! They need to take the crown back..

and on a second note...its interesting to see Cedsing back on after all of these years of speculation by fans....

i'll keep my opinion to myself on this one, as it involves business and not music...and in the end Im a fan, and not in the industry...i would suggest some of the fans do the same and stop the insinuating and allegations if you were in direct contact with BMR or Lynch. If your knowledge comes ONLY from what you read or heard indirectly...that doesnt really count, its your opinion.

Fact is, 87% of ya'll dont know the real story behind the deal, only A FIRST HAND ACCOUNT OF WHAT HAPPENED

There are 3 sides to every story...... YOUR SIDE, THEIR SIDE ...AND THE TRUTH

Props to Ced for getting on here and interacting with the members. I remember back in like 2002 when he got on here and got ran off by the Lynch groupies.

In my opinion, Ced is responsible for the music we all loved and still talk about to this day. I am not sure we would have ever heard it if he wasnt around. If you need any evidence to know how Lynch is at running a business, take a look at Siccmade or Madesicc or whatever. Shit is a joke.

@ Cedsing

do you have the locc to the brain album? aswell as unreleased Brotha Lynch Hung,Mr.Doctor,X-Raided etc from that era?

if so do you plan on releasing any of it?
First things first, answer the aforementioned Ced

Hook us up with the T-Tay song off Setripn Bloccstyle while we are at it.
