The term "Motherland" is very often applied to Russia, and many Russians and various Slavs around the world refer to Russia as their motherland, even if they do not have immediate ancestors from that country.

Filipinos/Filipinas: Why do you guys/girls always kick it all together in a click in high school? I hated that shit when I was kicking it with some filipinos/filipinas and then lunch time came around, I knew I had to go back with the Mexicans because we couldn't kick it together.
