if u ever visit the philippines people are more obsessed wit the asian culture. people are dressing up wit japanese fashion n some of them also listen to japanese music called J-pop or sumthin.
chinese people are also well-respected down there because a majority of them are rich own a business, etc.
so to answer your question, yes people down there claim they asian.
over here in the states, its more of a pacific islander thing, dont know why tho.

I guess i'll answer this one...Most asians are short and can't really see over the dashboard therefore they could barely see what's behind them since the headrest is probably in the way, can't look to the side cus the bangs on the hair messes up the visual. Hope that clears some concerns for you, next time i recommend not driving next to an asian.

I'M PART FILIPINO AND I'VE ALWAYS WONDERED WHY MY FILIPINO HOMIES DON'T CONSIDER THEMSELVES ASIAN. I'LL BE DRIVIN WITH MY HOMEBOY WHO'S ALSO PART FILIPINO AND WHENEVER HE SEES AN ASIAN DRIVING LIKE A DUMBASS HE SAYS "IT HAD TO BE AN ASIAN." I LOOK AND HIM AND SAY "WE PART ASIAN TOO!" AND HE'LL SAY "NAW WE PACIFIC ISLANDER." I NEVER GOT THAT ONE.
