Farrakhan's a loon... Him and his 'Independence Day' prophecies... That fool told Ted Koppel the 'Mothership' was on its way with a straight face... Haha...!

NOI is not real Islam. A good many of their teachings were on some ol 'we got blunted and decided to apply a social gospel because it seemed to fit our situation at the time' tip. In addition, their teachings on whites are garbage.

What does a mixed black man do with NOI teachings? Is he half evil and half pure?

Ive had this discussion before and the only people really into the NOI are the zealots who have to constantly keep convincing themselves lest they fall victim to reason.

"NOI is not real Islam" Please prove your point on your whole "got blunted and made some stuff up theory".

Waht does a mixed black man do with NOI teachings/Islam? Study, Prayer, and Submit. BUT, that mixed black man also has FREE WILL. So its on him. No matter if you are "mixed" this country says that one drop of black blood and you are BLACK.

You say you have had this conversation, but I dont see the basis on which you are supporting your statements

Having the whole “real Islam” debate is stupid and pointless.

Is Shia Islam or Sunni Islam the “real Islam”? What about Sufism?

Are Baptists, Anglicans, Moravians, Lutherans, Catholics “real Christians”?

Is one more “real” than the other?

Are the NOI and Church of Christ not “real” because they are uniquely American?

If the Protestant Reformation allows for religions like Lutherans or Anglicans to still be “real Christians” then the NOI should be considered “real Islam” and sects like the 5 percenters and Community of Christ should be “real” Islam and Christian as well.

But if you want to exclude NOI from being Islam you should be ready to exclude other denominations from Christianity as well.

(Just using Christianity as an example because I am more familiar with it and other Abrahamic religions, but I would assume this applies to all religions as well)

Spaceship:

"The Honorable Elijah Muhammad told us of a giant Motherplane that is made like the universe, spheres within spheres. White people call them unidentified flying objects (UFOs). Ezekial, in the Old Testament, saw a wheel that looked like a cloud by day but a pillar of fire by night. The Hon. Elijah Muhammad said that that wheel was built on the island of Nippon, which is now called Japan, by some of the original scientists. It took 15 billion dollars in gold at that time to build it. It is made of the toughest steel. America does not yet know the composition of the steel used to make an instrument like it. It is a circular plane, and the Bible says that it never makes turns. Because of its circular nature it can stop and travel in all directions at speeds of thousands of miles per hour. He said there are 1,500 small wheels in this mother wheel which is a half mile by a half mile. This Mother Wheel is like a small human built planet. Each one of these small planes carry three bombs.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad said these planes were used to set up mountains on the earth. […]

The white man writes in his above top secret memos o the UFOs. He sees them around his military installation like they are spying.

That Mother Wheel is a dreadful looking thing. White folks are making movies now to make these planes look like fiction, but it is based on something real. The Honorable Elijah Muhammad said that Mother Plane is so powerful that with sound reverberating in he atmosphere, just with a sound, she can crumble buildings."

lmao

I see your point as far as religious authenticity CB. Whether or not Mormons or Jehovas Witnesses are real Christians, or NOI are real Muslims, I cant really say.

@Reese, if you dont know the NOI teachings on the black man, white people, and other races, go refresh yourself. I work with and know many Muslims who used to be NOI and became 'mainstream' because they realized what a shallow and short-sighted avenue it is.

Id say that the whole 'not real' thing applies to canonical teachings.

If the Protestant Reformation allows for religions like Lutherans or Anglicans to still be “real Christians” then the NOI should be considered “real Islam” and sects like the 5 percenters and Community of Christ should be “real” Islam and Christian as well.
The 5 percenters themselves say that they are not Muslim. As far as COC, I couldn't say.

But if you want to exclude NOI from being Islam you should be ready to exclude other denominations from Christianity as well.
Right, which is why I backed away from that.

In addition, Farrakhan speaks for himself:
"White people are potential humans - they haven't evolved yet."
Philadelphia Inquirer, March 2000
"The Jews have been so bad at politics they lost half their population in the Holocaust. They thought they could trust in Hitler, and they helped him get the Third Reich on the road."
Saviours' Day speech, Chicago, February 1998
"Of course, they [the Jews] have a very small number of people but they are the most powerful in the world, they have the power to do good and they have the power to do evil ... Now what do the Jews do best? Well, they have been the best in finance that the world has ever known ...
"They finance a lot of stuff in the world, and there's nothing wrong with that, but they are not good politicians, they are the worst politicians because they don't recognise really their friends and as well their enemies ... "
Saviours' Day speech, Chicago, February 1998

lol @ the jews politics route. What the fuck do Jew politics have to do with anything? I guess Farrakhan, in an attempt to relate to his Arab Muslim brothers, decided to carry on the Passion of the Jew.

The Jews don't like Farrakhan, so they call me Hitler. Well, that's a good name. Hitler was a very great man.
Louis Farrakhan

"These false Jews promote the filth of Hollywood. It's the wicked Jews, the false Jews that are promoting lesbianism, homosexuality, [and] Zionists have manipulated Bush and the American government [on the war in Iraq]" [29]

Dude is really on the whole Jew tip.

I have, and I do "refresh" myself. You see Gangsta Reese aka Maurice X as of March 2005.

You did post some quotes from some different sources. Looks like you been on the ADL website. Again those "quotes" are just some 1 liners that were picked out. NOW, if you were to post what the Minister said in its entirety, I'm sure it would take on a different context then what you have "dug up".

LOL @ "mainstream" So those who dropped out, couldnt cut it? Couldnt go by the restrictive laws? Couldnt take the truth? Ask them WHY did they leave the Nation, or were they "put out"? Hmmmmm......

California Bear- Are you sure about that statement. Min. Farrakhan was quoated as to Malcolm X's hypocrasy in saying, (and I'm paraphrasing) "A man like that is worthy of DEATH" Thats where most people cut that off at, BUT if you do your research that same quoate was longer, saying, "but that is in the hands of Allah (GOD)" Most detractors cut it off at the word death, which in turn has people running around saying that Min. Farrakhan created the atmosphere which led to the death of Malcolm X. Can you say Cointelpro?

they are just as guilty as the FBI , also i maybe wrong but hasn't farrakhan admitted to contributing to the atmosphere that led to X's murder but not actually in involved in the planning or act it self. certant people from the 60s let them selfs be used by the FBI because of there ego.

Your use of the word "THEY" is a real eye opener. As I have stated earlier, The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan has spoken on on this before. He said that IF his words that he spoke during those turbulent times, agitated and/or provided an enviornment that contributed to the death of Brother Malcolm, then he apologizes for that. The problem is, alot of people want to put blame on someone or somebody. As a matter of fact you can go to FINALCALL.COM and they have streaming video on the Minister addressing this topic. As he is addressing he has the daughters of Malcolm X and the wife of Malcolm X by his side. They forgave him, and accepted his explanation, why havent you California Bear?

Futhermore to go along with your line of thinking, what about the Ku Klux Klan? The Neo-Nazis? Jim Jones? David Koresh? Timothy McVeigh? The cat that smoked MLK? America in general? ALL of these have killed, maimed, and attempted to destroy groups of people. All of these were under the banner of Christian Beliefs. So why not go on a "witch-hunt" on Christians? Do we allow what a few did to overshadow the whole? Even though when it comes to oppressing the Original people, it wasnt just a few, it was damn near ALL.
