Exactly, plus IMO it looks better than the Cliq and Blur sucks badly, plus if you root the G1 there are still several cats porting software to the G1 and you can use pretty much use all of the different versions of Android whether it be a Sense/Hero rom as well as the Cliq's matter of fact right before I sold my old G1 last month I loaded a port of the Eris 2.1 leak and it worked just fine

i tried ultimate droid 10 and bugless beast .9 or whatever the newest version is, and bugless beast runs WAY smoother for me...UD has some cool features like the 3d app drawer, but it's not nearly as fast on my phone

^I've always liked BB ROM's because they run smoother. BB 1.0 was just leaked but should be out in a couple of days. I'm fuckin with with CyanogenMod for now, I think i'll keep it for a minute.

my g1 is the shit.
but my girl his the Cliq and she hates it.
it has a weird placement for the mute and off button.
she always hangn up and shit. also drops a lot of calls...
phone freezes when browsing sometimes..
screen response is off .like u press here and it responds here
we got 2 months til she can upgrade thru tmobile and she cant wait.
she goin back to blackberry
