i searched the market but some of them don't show up, so i have to find the apk's and install manually. i found a few but there are more out there that are hard to find.
Which ones are you talking about? the stock ones for 2.1? or just some extras
cause in market>Themes there are almost 40 I can see instantally.

If you thought Google is taking a break from developing their mobile OS, you’re wrong.

And while there’s nothing official to confirm a new version of Android, we managed to get our hands on a set of leaked screenshots with what could be Android 2.2 Froyo running on a MyTouch 3G handset.

According to our source, these screenshots come from an “android trusted tester” who is a user on renowned forum 4chan.

First one is taken from the settings menu and clearly shows that’s an Android 2.2 firmware, while the second one brings what many of you dreamed of, automatic updates.

What does that mean? With Android 2.2 Froyo you will never have to update Google Maps or other applications that you use on a daily basis.

Of course this may have drawbacks, unless there’s a downgrade or a rollback function to use when/if your application has caused more bad than good. By that we can think of application glitches or malware meant to steal your sensitive data. Which brings us to another thing. How about a “bulk update” feature that lets you see a list of upgradeable apps and choose which one to get?

While we’re all excited in here, there’s nothing to prove these images are not Photoshopped, so better take it with a pinch of salt. Even if it’s true, Android 2.2 Froyo won’t make it to your Android handset anytime soon.

Now that I am home from work, might I say, my lord, they phone of our dreams is upon us. This thing is fucking epic. It feels so much lighter than the droid. My only wish would be to take away the sense UI.
