so is 2.1 coming to the droid or what. I thought that shit was suppose to come out in january. I want the official one, not the one them hackers got.

Just looking for recommendations. All I had on my Blackberry was AIM, Viigo, Gmail, GMaps, and Facebook.

I have downloaded quite a few apps for Android though because there's a better selection.

I have: Advanced Task Killer, AIM, Barcode Scanner, BatteryTime Lite, Craigsphone, Flashlight, FML, Google Translate, Maps, Note Pad, Peter Griffin Soundboard, Quagmire Soundboard, Ring Toggle, Stewie Griffin Sound, TTS Service Extender, Tube Downloader, Unit Converter, Visual Voicemail(can't get it to work yet), and Youtube.

One thing I am looking for is how to have the trackball or top LED blink when I have a new notification instead of turning the screen on to see.

You would need your phone rooted and have a custom rom on there.. Im not sure which one it is though otherwise Id tell you. and visual voicemail is a bunch of B.S I took mine off

Some good games are Abduction, Bit blocks, Bubble popper
they have a native AIM app from AOL mobile which is by far the best AIM app out there, and you can just rm the stock one that never stays signed in
