Zab is an idiot.
I gotta give Zab his props on this. He's been taking any tough fight and I'm sure he's getting paid well. There's probably no room for him to negotiate UK PPV money considering he probably won't be responsible for 2% of the numbers that get sold out there. Amir is the star in that situation and if Zab would've tried otherwise I'm sure Khan just books another opponent.

Have to be a die hard fan to think Zab's gonna win? I don't think Khan is leaps and bounds over Judah for people to think one must be a die hard to be picking him to win.
Khan is a solid 5 to 1 favorite for a good reason. I don't see a ton of money coming on Judah to make that line move at all.

I just can't think of any logical reason why anyone would pick Zab to win this fight other than being a fan, or a dislike of Khan.

The only thing Judah is bringing is experience. The experiences of always losing to top level competition. He was pretty much known as the 140lb gatekeeper 3 or 4 years ago. He definitely hasn't moved up higher than that since then.

Fam, anything can be negotiated on. Yes, in the UK Khan is the draw, but like I said before, this man is putting his health on the line by getting in the ring and should get some of the action. And if he (khan) booked another opponent, that would be on him but if he was fighting in america he would try to negotiate for some of the ppv money. He offered Bradley a 50 50 deal and split of ppv money, so why not offer Judah some of that money? Judah is the IBF champ, he can't eat? He isn't bringing anything ot the table? Fuck Khan and fuck Judah for selling himself short.

Like I said, Zab is an idiot.

^^With Bradley I believe team Khan at first offered Bradley no PPV money but because Bradley kept saying no team khan kept upping and upping his purse, to finally where it was 50/50 on everything. It was an amazing deal for Bradley, much, much more then he deserved and he still turned it down.

The reason that fight was so important was because Bradley was the #1 fighter and Khan #2. It would have been a unification bout, The Ring belt would have been on the line and most of all it would have recognized a true champion at 140 pounds.

Judah was a back up plan so naturally he gets less. He does have the IBF title but he's only ranked #6 overall in the division according to The Ring.

I believe Kathy Duva is Judah's promoter so it was on her if she couldn't negotiate any of the UK PPV. Or like Naner said, it could have been a "take it or leave it" type deal offered from Khan where Judah didn't have any room for negotiating, and if that's the case he's still better off taking it because the money he'll get from HBO is more money he'd get from anyone else in the division.

Judah has room for negotiating. He is ranked by Ring (I think #8) and he is the IBF champ. He brings something to the table. I'm not saying he should receive a major cut of the UK ppv money, but he should get something. He's putting his body on the line just line Khan, and to not give him a piece of the action is pathetic. This is why I respect Floyd's business game. Of course he is the major draw in boxing (him and pac) but he would have never did something like this. Even in his days when he was coming up I don't even think he would do something like this.

I hope Zab and Khan knock each other out. I hope they hit each other at the same time and knock each other the fuck out.

Judah should be getting a cut of the UK action. The UK fans are tuning into this fight because Khan is not fighting a bum. He's fighting a good named champion fighter that still has gas in the tank. Judah should get at least 5 - 7% of the UK ppv. I hope Judah knocks Khans head off.

Lately you and I have been agreeing. Is that good or bad?

I think it's pretty common for international stars to keep their countries PPV money. Lucen Bute, Jean Pascal, whenever these guys fight an american it's a PPV in Canada but usually on regular HBO on the US. With exception to Hopkins they usually always keep their countries PPV money. Same typically goes with the Klitschko's and lots of other guys.

Not saying it's right but it's not uncommon.

I'm not a huge Khan fan or anything, but I noticed a lot of people seem to hate him on here for some reason. What's the reason? He seems to be a real nice guy, has solid skills. Shaky chin yes, but that only adds to the excitement imo. Overhyped? British? Muslim? All of the above?

I don't care where these guys are from, what color they are, etc. I don't like Khan or Judah. Judah doesn't impress me because I believe he lacks discipline, and to me, that is something that great fighters really have. Moreover, I see his skills declining even though he's had great fights since his horrible 2006 and 2007 years. For Khan, I see him as technically sound but think he is still a tad overhyped and his chin is suspect.

If Khan were fighting over here he'd be getting some of that ppv money. No cut man? Seriously? Not even 5%?
