I don't miss pac, he got enough material, I do miss his acting tho.....I miss big pun cuz fat joe is fucking ass and he's the only popular latin rapper......I do miss big L, them punchlines were vicious.......biggie was raw, but I didn't like half his material.....

what I miss are albums like Only built for cuban linx, The infamous, coast II coast, enter the 36 chambers, stackin chips, in a major way, southernplayalisticadillacmusic, atliens, do you want more?!?!?!?......it seems like albums were more complete back then
I feel what your saying but those people you metion are still alive and if they are not dropping the the sameclassic material then that's their fault. I do have alot of faith that Andre 300 can bring that spark again.

oh and "REAL" Hip Hop is fucking gay.....I view that as a stuck up opinion saying that one person decides what's "real" and what's not. who the hell are you to be deciding on shit?

that wasn't directed at you elpresidente, just the phrase "real hip hop"
For real. All I'm saying I just miss the balance. All the dead MC I metion had the perfect balance of mainstream and underground sound. They were all able to make a hit and still have those album bangers too.

You got to know where you come from to understand where you going. I like a lot of the singles that come out but that's all they are "singles". I like the shit they play in the club but when I leave the club I wanna leave them cuts there too. But please tell me who should I be listening to? Maybe you know something I don't.

somewhat but not really, I mean there's no doubt in my mind that outkast will continue to make classic material, every album I've heard from them I've liked. same with the roots, they push the envelope too....my least favorite roots album was the tipping point and it was still pretty good. but the as for rest, the alkaholiks won't do another album together, rza on some fucking stupid ass shit and odb is gone, agerman from 3xkrazy is on some gospel shit.....and e-40's last album was good IMO, hopefully his next one will be also, but it probably will never touch in a major way....that sound was just so new at the time

yup, not many who walk that line.....TI does, but his last album sounded like he was hella trying to go pop, jeezy ain't got lyrics at all, ludacris's last album sounded hella popish too, and 50 is straight pop

You can't tell Andre 300 hasn’t got better? He is the king of the south I.M.O. His solo shit is not for everyone but when he is on a feature or remixes he embarrasses people.
yeah i wasnt feelin his "solo" album or the last few outkast releases...but yes i cant get enough of his verse on intl players anthem.

Yeah today I was bumpin' Only Built 4 Cuban Lynx... Yesterday was the Coup's Genocide and Juice... I'm thankful to have came up in the 90's; Hip Hop will never be the same again...
