Ya I was trying to figure the story out but on Silent Earth it jumps all over the place. Thru the 1st 4 songs it seems like its about a soldier and then blood red summer comes on and that threw me off cuz its not like the first 4. Then it seems like its about a stalker or someone trying to kill a girl.
I just did some research into how the story goes and man was I off. This shit is fucking crazy I have to go buy the first album now so thisll make more sense.

@Camby- Ive got some good insights on the story I got off the co & ca message board if you want em

I'm a big fan of Linkin Park...I like their whole style.

But, I'm also 'old school', so to speak; I grew up with a lot of Guns N Roses, Metallica, Poison, etc, along with my rap.

My 4 years of varsity basketball was G N R..."Welcome To The Jungle" was our first warm-up song. ;)

I listen to Staind & 3 Doors Down when I get tired of listening to rap which has been a lot more frequent lately.

Personally I hate all those random retro emo bands...like coheed and cambria, and the killers, and the hives, muse...etc...I need hard rock...

That new Chevelle cd is awesom though...

That one is good but I don't think it made the cut in my Billy Joel Mixtape

i'll listen to almost anything, any one thing can get boring after a while. some stuff in my library is coldplay (both albums), maxwell, lots of new jack swing era r&b, the smiths, the specials, steel pulse (older stuff), damien rice, sharon jones & the dap kings, older luther vandross stuff, thievery corp, steely dan, linkin park, blink 182, hall & oates, etc etc. good music knows no boundaries, theres something for whatever you're feeling at the moment.

Of course it did don't be ridiculous!

For the Longest Time along with Pressure, Allentown, Goodnight Saigon, Piano Man, NY State of Mind, The Stranger, My Life, Movin' Out, Only the Good Die Young, Say Goodbye To Hollywood, My Life, Big Shot, You May Be Right, umm... Don't Ask Me Why... I forget what else... Still Rock & Roll to Me... Tell Her About It... I think there's one or two more, it barely fit on one CD.

Jazz music gets no love on this thread? Miles, Coltrane, Kieth Jarrett. I listen to mainly Jazz now a days and have been listening to the "This is Acid Jazz: After Hours" cds
