EITHER WAY WE NEED SOCIALIZED MEDICINE , FUCK THAT LUKE WARM SHIT , EVERYONE MAN WOMAN AND CHILD SHOULD HAVE THE RIGHT TO HEALTH CARE
The only people that are going to benefit from "socialized medicine" are the poor fucks who are too lazy to go out and get a fuckin' job and get their own coverage. I don't care to pay for other people's health care. I can pay for my own, thanks.

People seem to forget that there already is government backed insurance out there...which is a complete FAILURE! How is this gonna be any different? lol.

You make it seem like people who have jobs can automatically afford coverage.

i agree...i am not trying to pay for some lazy fuck who doesn't want to budget their income to be able to afford some form of insurance...

TRUTH!

it's called budgeting. and not having multiple children that you can't afford. and basically, living within your means.

people think they can do whatever the fuck they want and everyone else will take care of them. fuck that. they aren't working, so i get to work and pay for their fucking insurance? fuck that. i dont' bust my ass so some fucking idiot who doesn't WANT to get a job can have insurance.

people DO NOT deserve FREE healthcare at the expense of OTHER PEOPLE.

tax the fuck out of people who make 500K+ a year, or 1mil +....let them pay for it...but fuck making the middle class pay for the lower class. it doesn't work out that way cause then the middle class becomes the lower class, in turn, making the social classes even more fucked off.

it makes no sense. if people who can't afford health care actually could afford it, they wouldn't want to fucking pay for anyone else either. they'd say, "this is my money and i earned it, i don't make a lot so i need to keep as much as i can." well, same goes for the middle class man. i need as much of my income as i can get, just to pay my bills and all that and be able to eat 3 times a day. so what do i do? i budget my money and live within my means. i don't buy shit i can't afford, i don't rack up credit card debt.

people just want to live frivolously and let everyone else pay for their asses. FUCK those people.

:)

You can only budget so much according to what your income is though.

If it costs X amount for someone to pay for necessities (rent, food, power, etc...) and that X amount eats their entire paycheck and they're just holding on and scraping through until their next paycheck, that's it. There's only so much you can remove from your budget.

And for the record, I'm not weighing in one way or the other on the topic of the thread because I haven't looked into it enough yet to provide an argument.

I'm just responding to the one statement I quoted originally.

What's the diff? Most jobs offer insurance in one way or another. Anyhow, you're talking to a dude who's kneecap broke the fuck off the other day and hasn't gone to a hospital yet because I can't afford the fucking surgery... I'm currently unemployed and have yet to beg a stranger to pay for my fucked up knee.

There's only so much you can remove from your budget.
Then get a better/another job. That's life. People do it every fucking day.

Doesn't The Declaration of Independence say we all have "The right to LIFE Liberty and the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS" Im pretty sure having healthcare for all entails just what that quote says.

You sound like a little fucking kid who really thinks its just that easy.

I totally agree with the people who beef on fucks with 5 kids and are riding on 20's but thats a small minority that are that ignorant. Good upstanding people like me who are sufferin out here and have had the same fucked up medical problem for 3 years dont wanna hear that shit. I pay my taxes, i struggle, i live paycheck to paycheck. I don't see how the French and Canadiens are so in love with their system but somehow we think we can't manage to pull it off.

Yeah, most jobs offer insurance... and you have to pay something for that insurance. That was what I talking about originally. Some people, after all other expenses, can't afford the health care plan their job offers.

Sorry about your knee (what the hell happened to bust it like that?). I'm in the same situation (currently unemployed) except I broke a tooth in half (much more minor than the knee) and can't do anything about it.

Unemployment sucks balls.

Sounds easy.

Do their expenses also include CABLE, INTERNET, and CELL PHONES? And shit they DO NOT NEED?

lol...Im' not yellin just emphasizing...but really....get a second fucking job.

i work 9 hours a day at my job, and for 4 months I was working another 5-6 hours filming for a music video. that's a second job. and on the weekends, i was filming 10+ hours a day and/or editing.

time is what you make it. if you want it that bad, you will get it.

people go out and buy shit they don't need all the time.

if you have 4 kids, and you can't afford the shit...even if you aren't on 24's...OH WELL...looks like you should have had 3-4 LESS children.

planning is a bitch, and nobody thinks abotu tha tshit. having ONE kid is a lot of money. people have 6 or more sometimes...i mean, if you can't afford a kid...............that's what abortion clinics and adoption agencies are for. so there is either NO problem, or the child ends up in the care of someone who can afford to raise them.

i use to have to pay $250 a month for my fucking insurance. so i know what it's like to pay outta pocket...right now, i'm fucking lucky though...cause my job actually pays for it for me. but now i've seen both sides...and guess what, i didn't mind paying MY OWN WAY cause that's what life is about.

and if you need help, you better help yourself. people get 2-3 jobs all the time. it may not be the president of some fortune 500 company, but it's still money in their pocket they wouldn't have otherwise.

i had a friend who worked 100+ hours every week. 2 jobs, both full time (plus overtime). just to have enough money to live, and he got paid all right too...so, getting 2 jobs, is possible. people just have to want shit bad enough to have that motivation. but they think they're too good for certain jobs. well, then sounds like they are TOO GOOD FOR MY TAX DOLLARS FOR THEIR INSURANCE TOO! LMAO :)

i'm not tryina be a dick to you doxx..i'm just sayin..and speakin partially in general. none of it's personal towards you at all.

Look up the word "pursuit"....

It has nothing to do with being handed free shit because you're poor.

I don't see how the French and Canadiens are so in love with their system but somehow we think we can't manage to pull it off.
It's not about "pulling it off". It's about the fact that I, as a broke ass twenty-something white dude can't afford to pay more taxes so I can birth poor ass peoples babies, clear up their STD's, and heal their bones when they "fall down the stairs". I'm not saying this applies to the majority of society, but I flat out, do not want to pay for a crackhead prostitute to get medical coverage.

Sorry about your knee (what the hell happened to bust it like that?). I'm in the same situation (currently unemployed) except I broke a tooth in half (much more minor than the knee) and can't do anything about it.
LoL. I've had problems with the knee since I was hit by a car and the local hospital didn't do shit to help me in the first place. Anyway it's almost embarrassing... I was doin' a wheelie on a bike (like... bicycle) and put my foot down to catch myself when I popped a wheelie too hard. My knee hyper extended, I heard two loud pops and went down. When I felt my knee, my kneecap was on the right side of my knee and I had to put it back in place. Fuckin' lame.
