Nationalized health care is nationalized health care, period. The United States isn't going to have a "better" socialized medical system than Canada, or any other country with the same system. What, because we're in the United States we're going to do it better? No.

They are already telling us that MRI's and things of that nature will be decided by THEM. They will decide if such simple things are necessary or not. That's error number one. Shall I continue?
So YOU decide if you have an MRI or not?

I thought that was your doctor's decision.

Don't insurance companies currently decide?

Our health ranks lowest of all developing countries.

We are the ONLY industrialized nation without socialized health care, and the people suffer as a result.

Look up the word "pursuit"....

It has nothing to do with being handed free shit because you're poor.

It's not about "pulling it off". It's about the fact that I, as a broke ass twenty-something white dude can't afford to pay more taxes so I can birth poor ass peoples babies, clear up their STD's, and heal their bones when they "fall down the stairs". I'm not saying this applies to the majority of society, but I flat out, do not want to pay for a crackhead prostitute to get medical coverage.

LoL. I've had problems with the knee since I was hit by a car and the local hospital didn't do shit to help me in the first place. Anyway it's almost embarrassing... I was doin' a wheelie on a bike (like... bicycle) and put my foot down to catch myself when I popped a wheelie too hard. My knee hyper extended, I heard two loud pops and went down. When I felt my knee, my kneecap was on the right side of my knee and I had to put it back in place. Fuckin' lame.

Why did you have to point out your race? Whats the relevance of that?

I don't give a fuck if the rich don't give a fuck about me, and if I were rich, I wouldn't give a fuck about you either. That's life.

This is a new record. Two hours or so near the open forum untill I got called a racist. Congrats siccness!

BTW, you just insinuated that "niggers" are the only ones who smoke crack, have children, and whore themselves out.

Good one, dummy. I'm smart enough to know better. You might want to think about that.

The reason I brought up my race is that in this world, if a white, 25 year old American male can hardly take care of himself financially, there's no reason to act as if minorities are the only ones getting fucked in the world.

man, i have serious back problems that i never dealt with cause i couldn't afford it before my current job. and as i said i'm super lucky casu ethey pay for my insurance...even though it's not super good, it's better than nothing.

i have bone spurs in my neck, and the start of bones fusing together from shit i couldn't afford to deal with before. i got some major surgery later this year i gotta deal with...and it's going to cost me, 2 grand this year...and when i go in for the 2nd half next year..it's another 2 grand. and that's out of pocket. cause i'm maxing out my dental insurance. even when you have insurance, it doesn't guarantee you shit. if i did it all this year, i'd be comin outta pocket 6 grand...cause it's 4g's each time. think i can afford that? Fuuuuuuck....looks like saving money is the best option.

i ain't mad. i'm just sayin you should think before you say some dumb shit, like i want to pay for some fuck's insurance.

and if i was rich, i probably actually would give some of it back...but it wouldn't be some stupid fuckign hand out for anyone. life isn't about FREE shit. it's about WORKING for what you get. you aren't OWED shit but your LIFE. you are living, so you have all you were EVER guaranteed. if you believe the american dream or any of that nonsense then i'm sorry man :(

It is the doctor's decision, not the decision of government run insurance companies. And if you decide you don't want it, you don't have to get it. I don't know what kind of coverage you've had or have, but when I had insurance no company decided whether or not I could have an MRI, x-Ray or Cat Scan. The only thing I ever had to wait for was a referral to a specialist (with non serious conditions my wait time was about 3 weeks...with a serious condition it would have been less than a week).

Our health is low, but look at the REAL ISSUES! It's not the healthcare system we have. We eat the WORST SHIT in the world, we are the most OBESE COUNTRY IN THE WORLD (Obesity causes heart issues, diabetes, blood clots, stroke, etc. etc.). We work a lot, we stress a lot, we move too fast. Don't look at the system, look at the real causes of our health issues.

Obama's DOCTOR even said this system won't fuckin' work. Why is it so hard for folks to see that Medi-Cal and Medicare are fuckin failures (both government backed). And THOSE are small potatoes compared to a NATIONAL SYSTEM!! With everybody and their mother on board.

That's just fucking stupid and selfish, that's what it is.
yeah not working and taking money from people who work their asses of is pretty selfish.

and i KNOW you didn't mean that. but obviously that shoe fits. and what i said is way more fucking logical.

people who want to keep the money they earn....versus people who don't want to work for what they want like everyone else so they leach off others...

HMMMMMM......

Medi-cal and Medi-Care STILL have higher approval rates than private insurance.
Medi-cal took 6 weeks to get approval to see a cariologist when I had an irregular heartbeat. But hey, I guess getting that approval was the important part I should look at.

By then, I had perfect readings again. My family has a history of heart problems, and if I do in fact have something to be concerned about, I still don`t know.

I pray I NEVER have to go through that again, but the cardiologist basically told me to come back when it reoccurs. Thanks doc!
