the double jeopardy thing may be true if they are done and off parole and/or probation then commit another crime they already done wit it and in most cases are misdemeanors i think unless it is murder one or some kind of manslaughter or i am not sure...but like i have an assault third degree and its a felony now but when i am off probation it drops to a misdemeanor...if you know what i mean then most shit after you are done with your time are drop to a minor crime level cuz ...i mean its my first crime and its difficult to find a job so its apparent thats a damn good reason i wont get hired...

so back to the point of what i was trying to say....if you commit 3 crimes in 15 years spread out...you are fucked....cuz you are most likely off probation/parole for each of your first two offenses by then and then you commit another one and minor or not you are goin to face the life penalty, it makes no sense!

I accidentally erased my last post.. but the questions still are WHAT constitutes the FIRST TWO strikes?? And it does NOT have to be murder, so quit with that "i dont associate with murderers" bullshit. Also, you asked how many chances were these folks given.. i'll answer you.. NONE. Who "gave" them these chances of which you speak? Why not just stick to what's here, what constitutes the first two strikes? Is it justified to give somebody LIFE for stealing a few CDs or DVDs?? What about drug offenders, is sending them to a prison FULL of dealers gonna help them kick their habit and become productive citizens?
