thats like saying you cant have a lighter...if it was some dinky ass knife or blade thing like that of a nail clipper then that is bullshit...but best of luck to the tio for that bullshit...i can see why they want to show people they aint fuckin around, but you have that guy i think from MN who has like 23 DUI's and only has gotten prison for his last one...and it isnt life only like 5 years...thats where laws are fucked up and unreliable and why people dont care or just at the wrong place at the wrong time...i dont like that law if it is something that is petty or minor...but when you are havin a couple of felonies that are violent crimes relatively soon to one another then the third one is difficult, but over half the population prolly carries a knife at some time or another....what did he do to where they had the right to search him....????or they just see it when he was bending over to fix the flat tire...

I don't know if they have this implemented or not but after your first strike there should be a rehabilitation program. A person with just one strike is going to have a hard time being accepted in society(esp. employers). I know a man/woman has to be responsible for their actions but once you're a convicted felon then you fall into the gov'ts cycle.

this shit seems like double jeopardy to me ..... someone commits two felonies and serves there time for those. then when they commmit a third felony, they are not only sentenced for that but giving life for the other 2 felonies as well. doesnt add up. just another law for the government to fuck over the minorities. this is exactly what california politicians wantred when they made this law

to whoever said once you have one strike on you for drug dealing or whatever and then you cant get a job, your an idiot too, maybe if you had graduated high school and gone to college, you wouldnt be in that situation where the only way to make money was selling drugs
