plate discipline can be taught, but once he has that he can be more closely compared to Eithier.

it can be taught and improved just like throwing and catching and fielding a ball............but not everyone can actually do it......its yet to be seen if bowker can do so.........but at this point up until this year in AAA he has stuggled mightily............and he is already 26.............kinda old for AAA......he will need to take the next step or soon

ya, i saw that........but i also saw 10-1 K/BB on the small cup of coffee......and up until those Fresno stats........he wasnt doing very well......

you guys have the pitching needed to be successful in the playoff if you get hot at the right time.............the veteran presence is needed and renteria, rowand, winn, and uribe provide that.............put it this way......i would much rather see Colorado inthe playoffs in a possible NLCS matchup than the Giants............
