Kershaw has been one of the better pitchers over the last month but he's not even a top 10 pitcher in the NL over the whole season so far. Over the last month, he's not even the best pitcher in his division, yet alone all of baseball. Lincecum and Haren have been better over the last month and half season so far.

One month of good baseball doesnt make you the best over a 6 month season. Plus how are you going to be the best pitcher when you lead the league in walks?
I never said that, i said kershaw IS PITCHING, as in right now....the past month or so....better than EVERY pitcher in baseball.....

21 year old..........putting up the numbers he is putting up on a playoff caliber team (tons of pressure) is amazing.......the walks are expected from such a young pitcher......

once he gains command and the walks go down........better watch out

BAA under .200........1 K per inning........

^^^ he still only made it to 7 innings twice in the last 10 games.

fact is, hes not pitching better than Dan Haren, and if Haren had the dodgers offense he would be 10-0 in his last 10 starts, he lost a start allowing 2 runs. and only one of Harens starts in the last 10, lasted less than 7 innings.

Kershaw is pitching well recently, lets see how long it lasts but its still not the best in baseball.

finally a damn win and they scored more than 2 runs this time. So maybe Molina needs to bat lower in the lineup, he can't get out of his funk.

Homerism at its finest. Keep dreaming. He wasnt even the best in his division over the last month. Brett Anderson was much better then kershaw but you aint saying nothing about that.

You cant average 5 walks a game when your outing is only going to last 6 innings to begin with.

You do realize that you need more then one pitcher in the playoffs right?

Anderson: 2-0, 31 IP, 4 ER, 16 H, 0 HR, 8 BB, 28 K

On the season

Anderson: 5-7, 95 IP, 45 ER, 97 H, 13 HR, 25 BB, 70 K, .261 BAA, 1.28 WHIP, 4.25 ERA

both were drafted in '06.......both are 21 year old......Kershaw came up last year Anderson this year

when you only give up 2 or 3 hits you can get away with it.........plus in his last 5 outings he is averaging 2.8 BB's, in his last 10 it is 3.2 BB's, on the season it is 3.2 BB's per outing.............60 BB/19 Starts....(i do understand that 60 BB is high and averages about 5 BB per 9 innings)....

You do realize that you need more then one pitcher in the playoffs right?
thats why we got Wolf and Bills.....also Koruda and whoever the 5th guy is is fine by me............the pen is solid with Brox in the 9th and Troncoso, Leach, Mota for the 7/8th.........Kuo is supposed to be back soon......when bellesario is back, oh boy watch out........ALL power arms......except for Leach who is the lefty specialist at 90-92
