to m hyphy was cool for the younger generation and I mean 14-21 year olds I don't expect anyone over 24 to be hyphy that aint from oakland. that's theirs. its fun to listen to (generalization). but serves no purpose but to dance and do stupid shit(no diss). us older folks(im 27) buy cds and well I aint buying no hyphy music. that's that. kids d/l.. adults would scrape lunch money as teens to buy cds. now the fan base d/l. there are tons of people all over the country that dig the music.
