Yep still there. Haven't been there in a minute though.

I watched this the other day and now my perception of Chicago Pizza has completely changed. I think I remember you ordering some deep dish from giordano's for one of these seahawks playoff games or maybe it was a superbowl? So I'm just kind of guessing your idea of Chicago pizza is deep dish, as was mine. What about this tavern style pizza and Chicago thin crust?

I still think the worst place I've ever been in WA (not talking crime wise here) is Mt Vernon. Seriously fuck that place and their tulips. Glenn Beck grew up there and that's all that really needs to be said.
I've only "been there" once, and I basically just drove through it, then we had to wind up this mountainous terrain with dirt and gravel and that shit was super shady it was like, wow if I missed this turn by 3 feet I'd tumble to my death lol, and my friends dads brother had some super fancy cabin up there. Like lakefront with huge glass everywhere and a stunning view. Seems like there was nothing there when we passed through

Oh yeah my family has done that a few superbowls now. Started with the Bears superbowl then continued the tradition with the following three seahawks superbowls. That and the Italian beef sandwiches (better than the pizza imo).

I'm a fan of both deep dish and thin crust. The way I explain it to people is if you want a meal, Chicago deep dish. Because thats what it is. If you want a quick slice or two on the go, thin crust.

I thought my favorite pizza was new york style but I dunno... I thought about it and I think it may be New Haven style. But I still appreciate and support all Pizza
Sausage. This is key. Here, you get your little pieces of sausage scattered around. In Chicago, it's a giant sausage meat patty on the fucking top. It's glorious. The layers of deliciousness ia unmatched. It will change your world view.

What really annoys me though is the difference in deli meat. You simply cannot find quality corned beef or pastrami in Washington! You might think you have until you go to Chicago or New York, then you realize how vastly different it is. That's the other thing we get, my dad goes to Chicago frequently for work so I always have him pick me up a couple pounds of corned beef and pastrami, best sandwiches. Another less annoying problem is the lack of poppy seed hot dog buns in super markets. WTF!? Why is this so difficult?

Wish I could help with more suggestions but I barely like pastrami / corned beef or anything with that briny taste. It could be like the fanciest most expensive sammich and my brain is still automatically "Hot dogs". Fucking hate hot dogs theyre like the worst food on the planet only way I can eat them is if its basically sausage and not really a hot dog lol

That makes sense cuz you're used to the lower standards that we have here. People look at me cockeyed when I asked for corned beef lol. The Midwest makes corned beef into a delicacy, same with New York.

Don't even get me started on the hotdog situation here lol. It's like a different universe, where in Chicago there are hotdog stands on every corner, polish dogs, Italian, etc etc etc to here where it's nearly nonexistent besides the few stands by clubs in pioneer square (philly cheese on a hot dog wtf Seattle!).

Just made a huge batch of potato salad, threw some pickles, onions, avocado, black olives, and tomato in there. Mayo, spicy mustard, fresh ground pepper, and pink Himalayan salt for the "sauce" base. Came out dope.
i like it when my grandma throws onions and black olives in there, never had the tomato and avocado but i love both so hell yeah
