Don't even get me started on the hotdog situation here lol. It's like a different universe, where in Chicago there are hotdog stands on every corner, polish dogs, Italian, etc etc etc to here where it's nearly nonexistent besides the few stands by clubs in pioneer square (philly cheese on a hot dog wtf Seattle!).

I pretty much recognize that the corned beef / pastrami here sucks, based on the fact people really hammer in how much better Katz and other places dotted along the east / midwest are completely different than anything anywhere and vastly superior. That's alright though I love smoked salmon I'm fine with that being our thing or whatever the hell seattle's thing is lol

Also recognize the hotdog situation is pretty bad. But I don't mind those philly cheese hotlinks from those pioneer street vendors one of my friends girlfriends sometimes drives down there at night to buy them, like a weirdo

That's right, the seafood here is obviously vastly superior to the Midwest so it's decent trade off. Salmon obviously, Trout, etc. Also Alaskan King crab is like nothing you could ever get in Chicago, but my god it's getting ridiculously expensive. I remember you could sometimes get it on sale for $9.99/lb at Safeway or Costco. Now it's always about $24.99/lb, which is like one leg lol fuck

Oh god lol... try walking through pikes place these days you'll see that shit at like $40-50 a pound for those monstrous king crab legs

But it gets worse the farther you go in any direction. Monroe for example. Anytime I feel like Lynnwood is bad I remember the shithole that is Monroe. Everyone from there is literally retarded. Come to think of it most all Washington sucks.
