Do any of you know much about surround sound home entertainment systems? My aux function running from red/white, seems to be splitting sound to only the right channel surround speakers. Using DVD is full surround, but I use aux more than anything.

Try a different cord. Or flip the red and white and see if the problem follows. You're not getting real coded surround out of rca's either way. Could also be the input is bad, or depending on the brand of surround could be the right channel amp is blown. Most likely the cord though. Feel free to PM me though. I set up and sold high end surround for almost 10 years.
