The problem with this is twofold. Tim didn't win a gold medal at the weight you mentioned. He won a gold medal at 147 which is one of the weights he fights at. Ward, however, won an OLYMPIC GOLD MEDAL at light heavyweight and didn't have problems making weight before the trials, during the trials and in the Olympics.
Again, so if it is less about the physical why did you just tell me about cutting weight? Ward won a gold medal at LHW. This means he is capable of fighting at that weight so what is the problem? Why is he not comfortable?
We already went over this. He wasn't a true MW.
Kovalev's trainer called Ward out last year. He said Ward should fight at LHW and said he is fighting smaller fighters. The truth is, Ward will most likely be knocked out by the top guys at LHW with the exception of BHOP. So yeah, he has the right to not fight in a weight class he had no problem making weight in, a weight class he won an Olympic gold medal in, but don't call out a guy who has never fought in your division and then say he's ducking you.
Here we go again. How is he not comfortable? Has he made any statements about not being able to fight LHW? But everything else I agree on. On one hand, you have people like
@CZAR
basically saying "no comment" when it comes to GGG fighting Floyd if he were to take the belt from Cotto, but then say GGG should fight Ward.
