Mayweather will contend that Cotto hadn't signed a contract for that date to fight Canelo and is still free to negotiate a fight with Floyd or step aside. Arum will then refuse to give up Pacquiao for May 2nd stating Mayweather will not bully us into a fight. "Fuck Mayweather we don't need him...Pacquiao will be fighting Jesse Vargas April 2015...since Floyd is a coward."

Roy was a beast in his prime but he became boring himself after getting KO'd by Tarver. I remember the 3rd Tarver fight (correct me if I am wrong) he wouldn't let his hands go.

As for Floyd vs Miadana being boring, the only boring part of that fight was round 12 in the 2nd fight. Mayweather literally ran, I'll admit that.

Mayweather won't get credit for being an exciting "fighter" until he gets beat up and bloodied, then the critics will say what a great fight. So is Mayweather still in his prime while Pacquiao isn't? We've seen some exciting fights from Floyd... Chico (RIP), Gatti (RIP), Zab Judah was a good one.

Pac would bring it to Khan, Floyd would lay bacc and counter Khan the whole time. Exciting would be Pac v Khan on the strength of it being a brawl cuz Amir loves to bang too. Floyd and Khan would be a chess match with speed and counter punching being involved the whole 12 rounds.



So having said that i would actually like to see Khan v Mayweather.

He was quite obviously past prime during the 3rd Tarver fight. He was past prime when he was KO'd by Tarver.

The guy essentially went 50-0 (the DQ loss he suffered was because he KO'd a guy then punched him again when he was on the ground). Hit the age of 35 after moving down from heavyweight, his reflexes weren't the same anymore and that was a wrap. But during those years before he got old, he was certainly entertaining and something special to watch.

I actually don't find Floyd boring to watch. For me, the excitement when he fights comes from how he avoids punches, how he counters and how when he starts to feel really comfortable he starts lighting you up and trying to walk you down. For Pac, I like the angles, he's always punching, he is countering and you never know what to expect because he can be very explosive.

But, for Roy, he is saying what he is saying but now we have to bring up his history with Hopkins.

The only debate is a rematch after Hopkins beat Trinidad however they weren't in the same weight class like Pac and Floyd, Roy was at 168 if not 175 by then Hopkins still at 160. And Roy did offer Hopkins 60/40 but Hopkins said if he has to move up two weight classes he wants 50/50 and it died there. Until they were both 90 years old which was one of the worst fights in history, I'm sure the same will happen Floyd will be 47 Pacquiao 46 and no one will give a fuck lol

See above. Both guys had what around 20 or so fights under their belts at the time they first fought? Again, why not an immediate rematch?

Because Jones moved up in weight. Also remember Hopkins was just a contender when they fought, no one knew he was anything special. The first fight wasn't even a main event, it was on an under card to some random Riddick Bowe fight.
