The blood testing thing comes up every time someone mentions something that looks bad for Floyd. That is such a moot point and dead argument man. That's water under the bridge and already been agreed to for years now, etc...

Keep in mind that this was the FIRST time Floyd had ever asked for it against any fighter. At the time, it was an absolutely ridiculous request because no one was doing it. People weren't testing positive as much as they started to after that. I give Floyd credit because it is important IMO, but at that time when he was making that demand it was ridiculous. Floyd had no proof of Pacquiao using anything illegal though and it ended up costing Floyd money in court for making that accusation. But again, it's pointless now. You can say that Pacquiao looked suspicious by not agreeing to the tests then, but Floyd also looked scared by refusing to fight a guy smaller than him without the other guy meeting demands that no one was making just to make a fight.

Was it as ridiculous as the (multi million dollar per pound) weight penalty clause that Pacquiao demanded and Floyd agreed to?

Floyd agreed to all of Pacquiao's demands, Pacquiao balked then walked. Floyd even compromised and came down from the day of to two weeks to meet Pacquiao half way.

Pacquiao looked like a punk because Shane, Ortiz, Cotto, Guerrero, Canelo, Miadana all took the test without a problem and didn't complain. They had to do what they had to, to get Floyd in the ring.

I find it very hard to believe that this dude would come out and lie. They're obviously in contact with Floyd (hence: the $40 million dollar offer like Floyd offered before). Now Showtime has come out and said that they're offering some PPV too (which Floyd didn't offer when he called Manny personally). Manny confirmed and said he turned it down because no PPV was offered. Now Showtime confirmed that $40 million and PPV has been offered and rejected!

HBO and Showtime can make the fight happen, Manny has to quit rejecting offers. Like Heresy said, accept the offer, make the fight, or keep Floyd's name out of his mouth.

Yeah...at this point I'm just plain TIRED of hearing Manny Pacquaio talking about he wants that fight. Which should translate to I'll do anything to make it happen...then when they give him something, he don't want it. But he is willing to do it for charity. Arum is a bullshitter...Pacquaio is a bullshitter...at least you don't hear Floyd talking like he is so desperate to make the fight that he is publicly putting messages out yanking people's dicks. Floyd just says hopefully we can make it work out we'll see.

How much longer can WE defend this chump who drops down in weight to avoid the 147 division then picks the weaksest 140 pounder he can find in Chris Algeri. Adding insult to injury he is looking to fight Vargas who has to come up to 140 pounds...when Adrien Broner aka Lil Floyd is waiting for a fight...NOW THAT WOULD BE BIG...I hate to say this but FUCK Pacquaio cause this whole fiasco is 100% his fault.

Here is the answer to that Macua casino money I believe it was used just to guarantee Pacquaio a $20 million pay out...because his gross revenue for his fights is only $30 million...so basically Arum can give Pacquaio soft touches for the remainder of his career and use this Floyd propaganda until the end of 2015 when Floyd retires...2016 they will be begging Floyd to publicly come out of retirement (hoping he stays gone) by which time Pacquaio will have cleaned out the 126 pound division and retire as the greatest boxer to ever lace up the gloves (and the biggest con man/ congressman I have ever seen).

Yeah it's 100% his fault. First it's the drug testing issue (which he then turns around and agrees to when he should and could have agreed to when the contract was on the table and going through mediation).

Then it's I'm not offered any PPV even though he said he'd donate his purse. Now 40 mill and PPV isn't good enough and was rejected? Who knows how many more millions a share of the PPV could net him. If he wants more, sell the fight. That's what all access is for.

Floyd hasn't even looked at or talked about any other opponents.

I'm done with this chit too mane.

Folks always try to downplay good points from Floyd's side. All Manny had to do was the testing period and the fight was on way back than. Got Em!!

Coach's point was in 2009, the drug testing Floyd demanded had never happened before in boxing, it seemed pretty absurd at the time. Sure Mosley did it against Floyd in 2010, but obviously 2010 wasn't before 2009 now was it? I know you're not the brightest bulb around, but 9 is before 10, right?

Also, Manny is not dropping weight to avoid 147 but to create more matchups cuz 147 is practically all Al Haymon. Better yet, why hasn't Haymon given Lara or Thurman their mandatory fights for Floyd's 154 and 147 titles he's holding?

That's BS! Floyd said he gave Manny two weeks without testing, when Manny turned it down he said "from here on out it's RANDOM all the way up til the day of". So he was cutting Manny some slack so that the fight could happen since Manny didn't want to get tested on the day of or too close to the fight.

Nobody else got the two week window that was offered to Manny.

And everyone else after has also. How can you try to avoid the point here? People were starting to wonder how Manny was goin up weight class after weight class and knocking people out. Just calling it like I see it..... at first I sided with Manny because who wants to get their blood drawn on the day of a fight? Then when Floyd came down a bit and offered that two week "no testing" window to ease Manny's weaknesses concerns, I sided with Floyd.

Floyd sent a letter to ESPN saying that the offer was still on the table.

Pacquiao still didn't accept and chose to fight Clottey.

Manny said "you can test me inbetween rounds" then why in the F did he turn down the two week offer then?

Makes no sense.... you can test me inbetween rounds but not two weeks before the fight?

I know it's crazy right all Floyd is asking is 2/3's of the pot, Olympic style blood testing, venue, date, glove size, ring size, name on poster, ring walk, "only if he signs to TMT", "not during my vacation", etc., he's hardly asking for anything! Pacquiao is so greedy with all his demands of a fair purse split, the nerve of the guy!

What was the reason for that? Because Floyd came in overweight against Marquez and then tried to first negotiate a fight with Pacquiao at 154 pounds lol. So at least there was some precedent.

What I have noticed is whenever you pressure a Pacquaio supporter with facts they always seem to retort with, "Dick rider", "Nut hugger" things of that nature. If you wanna be KING...step into his arena and TAKE the CROWN...or step aside and let the NEXT man through like he did when he left it to: Mosley, Ortiz, Guerrero, Canelo and Maidana. Pacquaio isn't in anyway trying to be the first man on record to hand Floyd his first "L".
