the health insurance offered for low prices through Obamacare seems terrible, you gotta payout like $2500 or some shit before you can even use the insurance and then on top of that you still have to pay a monthly fee and a co-pay after the hospital visit.

I guess the sole purpose of it is for emergencies only like what happened to gimmefreemusic's friend's sister. Their thought process is "a few thousand is better than $50,000" lol it sucks
This just isnt true, breh. There's a pretty wide variety of policies available. And although I;m not a fan of obamacare (single payer>>>>) its worlds above the previous system. Health care costs are steady going down. And in terms of wait time comparisons to canada, rich people can still go get their immediate operations just like theyve always been able to. Poor people often had to wait or were flat out denied for operations that weren't immediately important. Bypass is a good example of that. Try getting bypass surgery without insurance five years ago, unless you are about to die on the spot, in which case its an emergency procedure and they'll treat you now like they'd treat you then.

On a non-medical not, I'm having a benzodiazapine day. Woke up at 5:00am with one of my regulars in my bed, dont remember her even coming over. Was gonna make her cook me pancakes, then realised I didn;t have the ingrediants, so I had a couple 5:00am cocktails, now I've popped a couple valiums, and am gonna snort a couple more.

I'm going by plans that were directly offered to me from healthcare.gov itself, not hearsay

Maybe I put in my info wrong, or am somehow in a higher income bracket than poor people who get better policies offered. I don't know, but the plan I listed with the $2500 before the insurance activates with a monthly fee and the co-pay was the cheapest plan I was offered from the official obamacare website.

Plans that didn't have that $2500 initial fee and lower co-pays were like 10x more expensive per month lol

I had to stick with VA for me and tribal for my daughter, which blows because the health care systems in both are terrible.

OK, well I certainly can't speak for you in particular, I can only speak in terms of the aggregate numbers and while some people might get fucked plans, fewer of them are getting fucked than used to get fucked. I;m sorry you're in the fucked catagory though, breh, especially with a daughter to support.

Hate being stuck in that lower middle class bracket that gets fucked in everything. Apparently get too much money for cheap health care, food stamps, tax breaks, scholarships for school etc. etc. but can barely pay my bills, keep food in my fridge, and actually have something left over afterwards.

Pisses me off because I've personally known and see tons of people abusing the fuck out of the poor people system. Living in a free apartment, fridge always full of free food, free healthcare through medicaid (funny thing is I've known a few people who have abused the fuck out of medicaid to get free narcotics, meanwhile I've known other people who seriously need healthcare and can't go). Yet these people always have big ass TV's, playstations, always have weed to smoke, always at the club every Friday and Saturday night and have absolutely no plans, drive, or ambition to go out and get this shit for themselves.

I understand there's actually people who need the help, but it seems like more abuse the help, draining more money and resources making it harder to get the help spread to more people.
