I already said why it would take place too moron. Read what I said.

"I think everyone was shocked by that and a lot of people still believe that Broner will win the second fight even though Maidana easily took the first one. I guess we'll see. " How is that hating on Broner? That's the flat out truth.

Let me spell it out for you, I think Broner is much more skilled than Maidana and should beat him 9 times out of 10. But I also think he's a stupid fighter and caught a major reality check. I think he should win the 2nd fight, it is probably the biggest/best fight out there for him right now that he's actually justified in getting, and I think he could easily win. But after he embarrassed in front of the whole boxing world, it's definitely conceivable that he could lose or get knocked out in the rematch. What I was saying is that, people would have less of a beef with Mares getting a rematch than Broner because of the way he lost. Boxing is a business though, if it makes dollars, it makes sense. But Paulie deserves a rematch with Broner more than Broner deserves one with Maidana.
Well quit whining then moron! I dont care who u think deserves a rematch more. No one cares about Paulie so he didnt get a rematch! Like u said its a business and Broner knows how to generate interest. People say he is dumb for all the shit he does but that made him one of the most popular fighters whether u love or hate him. People want to see him so he will get the rematch. For those that dont think he should get it, oh well get over it. Its pointless to keep goin back and fourth. We have no control over it but if u know boxing u should understand it. If not then go watch golf. Got Em!!

this dude said Victor Ortiz. Isn't that fag more focused on his music career now lol. He sure hasnt been shit since Floyd beat him. I remember saying back then it was a bad idea to throw him to the wolves that soon. Canelo is gonna realize that real soon the same thing now that he will never recover from that loss, same as Robert Guerrero. Marquez and Judah are the only ones thats managed to stay relevant after a Mayweather loss but they are future hof's so that more says how good of careers they have had regardless

Nysac Really Screwed Up Abdusamalov's Situation

From the NY Post: http://nypost.com/20...te-probes-care/

The heavyweight boxer known as the Russian Mike Tyson can now move one of his fingers and his legs, but only ever so slightly.
Magomed Abdusalamov, 32, doesn’t recognize anyone, can’t speak and his three young daughters haven’t seen him in nearly three months. They have no idea he is practically motionless at a Rockland County rehab hospital.
A portion of the boxer’s skull is missing, and he is a shadow of his former 230-pound girth. He is surrounded by photos of his family and images from his boxing career.
While the state inspector general is probing the brutal Nov. 2 boxing match that left Abdusalamov gravely injured, the boxer is getting therapy every two hours at the Helen Hayes Hospital in the hope that he regains something of his former self.
“Boxing? Forget about it,” said Amin Suleymanov, a cousin of Abdusalamov who visits him daily.
Not only is the boxer’s life at stake, so is the future of the New York State Athletic Commission, the official body that regulates boxing and would oversee the equally dangerous sport of mixed martial arts if approved in New York.

Magomed Abdusalamov
The IG’s office is interviewing those who were on the scene for the Madison Square Garden bout between Abdusalamov, a native of Dagestan who’d recorded 18 knockouts, and Mark Perez of Cuba. The probe is focused on whether the contest should have been stopped and on the Athletic Commission’s oversight of Abdusalamov’s medical condition.
Abdusalamov broke his left hand in the first round, and by the sixth round his face was swollen and he had difficulty closing his mouth.
No one with the authority to stop the contest, including Melvina Lathan, the chairwoman of the athletic commission who was in the audience, did so.
The slugfest went the full 10 rounds and left Abdusalamov a bloody loser, with a broken hand, nose and facial bone.
When blood appeared in his post-fight urine test, a sign of possible internal bleeding, the state inspector assigned to Abdusalamov advised the fighter to go to the hospital, a source said.
But the inspector made no arrangements — despite two ambulances standing by at the Garden — and, instead, suggested the boxer and his entourage hail a cab and ask the cabby where to go.
At 10:30 p.m. on a Saturday night, there were no cabs available outside the Garden.
“
It was horrible. I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off,” said Boris Grinberg Jr., the son of Abdusalamov’s manager.
The boxer’s condition was getting worse, and he vomited on the sidewalk.
Grinberg managed to commandeer a cab from a couple that had just hailed one.
They arrived at a crowded Roosevelt Hospital emergency room 25 blocks away, where Abdusalamov had to wait. Someone advised the entourage to step outside, call 911 and ask for an ambulance to take them into the very same ER in order to get faster service.
Abdusalamov vomited again and passed out. Grinberg’s father arrived, made a fuss and the fighter was finally seen by doctors who found he had a blood clot in his brain. The boxer had surgery, later suffered a stroke and was put in a medically induced coma.

He was transferred to Helen Hayes in late December. His family has retained a lawyer but can’t file a notice of claim until Abdusalamov’s wife is formally appointed as his guardian.

Erislandy Lara is the only one capable of beating Mayweather

floyd mayweather jr erislandy lara By Dominic Sauboorah: After analyzing many of Floyd Mayweather’s fights it’s easy to say that a basic brawler or even a combination puncher is not the one to beat him. He will easily make those kinds of fighters miss and make them pay. He’s done it countless times over his career against Miguel Cotto, Victor Ortiz, Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton and so on. He’s even be able to out box guys that have tried to box him like Juan Manuel Marquez and Saul Alvarez.

People are saying Mayweather will struggle with fast punchers like Amir Khan but Mayweather’s a counter puncher and timing always negates speed. There’s only one man I can see beating Mayweather if not at least give him problems and that’s Erislandy Lara.

In terms of Mayweather’s defence and style generally it’s been stated that he struggles against south paws. This is a very general statement and can be argued that this isn’t the case considering that he beat Ortiz and Guerrero with ease, both of whom were south paws. However they’re right handed south paws and with Mayweather’s defensive style he was easily able to negate that punch.

The punch that Mayweather seems to have no answer for is the straight left. A perfect example can be seen in the fight between Mayweather and Judah, the only world class left handed fighter Mayweather has fought. In the first 4-5 rounds he was getting caught time and time again with that straight left and at one point was extremely buckled by the punch to the point where it looked like he could’ve gone down. It’s fair to say that Judah, in the 2nd half of the fight, gassed out to the point where his punches didn’t have the same snap. From then Mayweather picked Judah apart and broke him down further.

Since that fight Mayweather has stayed away from naturally left handed fighters. It can be argued that this is the reason he hasn’t fought Pacquiao yet but again Mayweather isn’t the only one to blame for that fight not taking place. Erislandy Lara’s trade mark punch is his straight left and he used that punch to batter the likes of Angulo, Trout and Williams. Lara isn’t just a one trick pony though, he’s unlike any style Floyd has fought. He uses a lot of lateral foot movement and range which could give Mayweather a lot of problems considering that Lara is 2-3 inches taller and has a reach advantage. The movement, timing, power, speed and ring general ship of Lara could make it difficult for Floyd. Truthfully I can’t imagine the fight being a spectacle and it would be more of a chess match but it would be interesting to see how Mayweather deals with the style of Lara a style I don’t believe Mayweather has seen before.

If Lara is able to land the Canelo fight in 2014and beat him, which I expect him to, then the Mayweather fight becomes a lot more applicable in terms of people actually recognizing the Cuban and understanding that he’s a genuine threat to Floyd’s undefeated record. I personally think he’s a threat as of now and would give Mayweather serious issues. He is an extremely talented fighter, Mayweather seems to struggle with naturally left handed fighters and as I stated before the straight left hand is Lara’s trademark. Mayweather’s brilliant at adjusting, whether he can adjust to the style of Lara is another question.

Maidana hasn’t decided who he’ll fight next

marcos rene maidana adrien broner By Dan Ambrose: Adrien Broner (27-1, 22 KO’s) may have exercised his rematch clause for a rematch against WBA welterweight champion Marcos Maidana (35-3, 31 KO’s) for nothing, because Maidana says he’s still not decided who he’ll be facing next. Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer jumped the gun by saying that Broner and Maidana would be facing each other in a rematch in April. I guess he should have checked in with Maidana first before talking about the rematch because Maidana has other ideas.

Maidana doesn’t want to agree to a rematch with Broner before he’s explored his other options, such as a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. That’s probably not a fight that will happen, but Maidana is smart to keep his options open until he hears about who Mayweather will be fighting next. It can’t be too much longer before Mayweather announces his next fight.

It’s interesting how Schaefer is already talking about the Broner-Maidana II rematch as if it’s a done deal. Maidana doesn’t have to fight Broner. He can always vacate if they try to shove the fight down his throat without him being able to look at bigger options.

If Maidana can’t get a fight against Mayweather, then he should look to set something up with junior middleweight Saul “Canelo” Alvarez. That would be a good fight. Maidana would obviously be out-sized by the 170+ lb. Canelo, but at least he’d have the option of getting a better payday because the fight would be pay-per-view rather than just regular Showtime for a Broner rematch.

Broner is crazy if he thinks he has any chance of beating Maidana in a rematch. Broner’s going to end up looking silly in front of the entire world again, and take a beating. Hopefully after this loss, Broner won’t dash out of the ring like he did last time. Broner needs to stay and give a post-fight interview like most fighters do instead of taking off because things didn’t go his way in the fight.

Fight fans we have a big fight coming up with Alfredo Angulo facing once defeated Saul Canelo Alvarez on March 8th in Las Vegas. Also there might be a Mega Fight for Amir Khan to face undefeated Floyd "Money" Mayweather on May 3rd. Both of these fights will be PPV fights which means they are huge. Alfredo and Amir have already jumped into full training under the tutelage of Virgil Hunter. More to come soon.

I didn't realize Angulo was with Hunter now.

The good news that came out recently is the WBC announced that this fight will NOT be for the title after all. They are going to allow Floyd more time to decide which title he wants to keep/defend.

Marquez turns down Provodikov and Alvarado for Cowboys Stadium

Mexican Juan Manuel Marquez could fight against Mike Alvarado in April in the Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, said Fernando Beltran.
"What the Cowboys Stadium would be great, a great call for Mexicans to fight for them is an honor, but to think about what comes to my future, begin to move the pieces and if you can not with the Champion OMB (Bradley), there are opportunities with the IBF, WBA and WBC even if an opportunity opens, "Marquez said.
If the fight does not materialize 'Dinamita' Marquez against Alvarado at Cowboys Stadium, the capital could return to Arena Mexico City as another option.
"I want a challenge, look for fifth world title, if you know what to follow Bradley because Pacquiao looks, I offer Ruslan Provodnikov and Mike Alvarado, but for me, although they are great fighters, represent major challenges , Provodnikov title and it had (WBO super lightweight), but not remove them merit, "he said.
Meanwhile, Beltran said the outlook for Marquez is encouraging and although they have not defined anything, has prepared a plan for the four-time World.
"The Cowboys Stadium may be, we have not talked yet, but as things stand, we do not want to wait for Bradley Marquez, because I think it has a chance to beat Pacquiao and then a rematch with Marquez would be even more interesting "he concluded.

Manny Pacquiao: "Mayweather “is just a coward, insecure and envy my accomplishments.

https://www.facebook.com/boxinginsider

Manny Pacquiao: "Mayweather “is just a coward, insecure and envy my accomplishments. I don’t like to bite his gimmicks and I just want to understand him, although it’s too much”

“Top Rank already allowed us to directly negotiate with them [Mayweather] before but they never communicated with us, Mayweather Jr. is saying a lot of negative things against me but he doesn’t like to fight.”

“We will consider everything but until now, they don’t like to fight. At the same time, people are saying the fight between us needs a trilogy, but how can it be possible if he’s not going to fight me first"
