since I lightweight stopped drinking soda, I have literally not been able to finish one. I have had a few here & there, take a few sips & it tastes like I am drinking pure sugar.

i thought if i stopped drinking soda id see a weight loss, but i havent yet, but i just started back in the gym last week. I am trying to shed 50 pounds by march.

& I cant really 'change' my diet. I am not eating as much red meat, but eating fish is out of the question for me, i hate it, & I can only eat veggies raw, I cannot fucking stand cooked veggies.

I was thinking of looking into this: http://health-lifestyles.org/indexe...=AMINO&source=ab&c1=&popup=1&c1=#.Um7q0BCesw1
I quit soda like 15 years ago, in high school. I would have a mixed drink every once in a while but that was it. But for some reason or another I started drinking those mexican sprite's. Only when I eat a big greasy meal, but fuck I'm hooked. Still can't stand most brown soda's tho.

Probably because it helps you digest that big greasy meal.
Something about the amount of sugar or acid or something that helps.
Sometimes people feel better after drinking a soda when they have stomach problems.

lol wtf?

What is it about cooked veggies you don't like bro?
When I cook my veggies I lightweight cook them, only for a view minutes and usually after I fry them a bit in olive oil.
Grilled is nice too.
If you want to be a bit more healthy and loose some weight you should look in to juicing your some veggies to add to your breakfast or pre/post workout juice. They taste great too!

Good busy on the sodas! I'm very happy I didn't grow up on drinking soda. When I was a child this really was a commodity for me. Few years ago sometimes I got the urge to drink a soda. Bought a can took 2 sips and threw the rest away. When I was those 11 months in Asia I drank more sodas then I did in the rest of all my life though lol
Now I never drink any kinds of sodas. People here walking around with half litre of energy drinks all day.
Wonder what they will feel like in a few years..
that owner denied access thing is really weird, I wonder if thats because of you being out of the USA? Like it should make a difference, but you know some sites are strange like that.

so as a child, like everyone else, I was forced to eat my veggies.

downside is, if I didnt eat em, I sat at the dinner table until time for bed, or until they were gone. ( I used to feed them to the dog when nobody was looking ) *he even barfed up a bunch of my peas one time, & I got the shit beat out of me for that*

well, come bed time, my mom would put that shit in the fridge & thats exactly what I would have for breakfast, & if I didnt eat them in between beatings, I would have to take them to school for lunch. Thats where I usually threw them out & either didnt eat, or I bummed food off my friends
(my mom worked in the lunch room at school so she knew if I went up to get cafeteria food)

this was repeated for probably 15 years of my life.

I dunno man, it kinda gave me a bit of an eating disorder. I know that sounds lame as fuck, even to me, but it did. So my diet consisted of the veggies only I wanted to eat. & I do eat veggies, I just cannot cook them ( besides corn, in which I LOVE ) & tons of meat. like, overboard amounts of meat. I have been eating steak at least twice, maybe 3 times a week for years, & bacon or sausage for breakfast, hot links, burittos, tacos for lunch.... I jsut eat like shit breh, & I am trying to make a change.

I was seriously even contemplating seeing a hypnotherapist to reprogram my brain as a last ditch effort for change.

That website is hella racist breh!

Your parents went Draconian on your ass with the veggies damn!

Maybe a hypnotherapist is not a bad idea as a last resort.
You could try looking in to that juicing of your veggies stuff or maybe look into fasting for a few days. This way you could also clean out your colon a bit, which is probably crowded if you ate steaks so much for such a long time.

Personally I don't see meat as a source of food any more. I stopped eating meat almost 3 years ago and never had a craving since, not even if people at the same table eat meat or at bbqs.
I used to love it too, still smells great but I changed that cold turkey (no phun intended)

I am not trying to say you should stop eating meat all together, maybe eat a bit less (judging from what you wrote). But I hope you can find the same mindset when it comes to adding and removing stuff from your diet until you find one which suits you and makes you feel better.

right on breh.... yes I think a fasting might be a good idea as well. I have been thinking that for a while. I wont be eating any meat this week, & that had been in the plans for a bit.

My mom is vegan, so I have been around that lifestyle my whole life, I am not against it by any means, but ya I will still continue to eat chicken & BBQ, but my steak intake is about to come to a halt. I have not had one in a week (I think) & steak is my first love.

I am just trying to live longer breh, I lost my pops at a young age & I dont want my son to be in the same position, because of my selfishness.

i really believe in the non-processed food diet. I eat a ton of food, but all of it pretty non-processed stuff. As little margarine, fast food, sausage and ground meats as possible. Try to stay away from anything with a lot of preservatives too. Don't get me wrong, I still eat some crap and occasionally hit up fast food when in a rush. But i've noticed I feel a ton better and can keep my weight in check if I just eat more natural/fresh stuff.

If you want to try to fast I recommend reading up on it before you begin (if you haven't already).
Way to go with setting those goals, and setting an good example on the kids.
I would suggest going to a proper butcher too for your meat intake and not get any at the supermarket for countless of reasons.

And props to the mom for being vegan!
