I remamber watching "Back to the beach" ( corny 80's surf movie with pee-wee herman, annette funicello & Frankie Vale ) back in the day & seeing the surfer gang guys ride those int he ocean & vowed I would someday do it too.

....but I refuse to go in Northern Cali waters so that is a far fetched dream for now. Maybe on vacation I will.

The big kahuna and pee wee singing "bird is the word" ha ha I used to love that movie, didn't the son go bad with a switch blade and shit if I remember correctly.
