I own a Samsung 1080p DLP and its great, If I had the extra bread at the time when i bought it I would have went with the Toshiba DLP instead. At the time Toshiba's DLP was ranked #1 in the DLP category with Samsung #2. Toshiba and Samsung are both great TVs even way back in the day they were real good and alot cheaper then the slightly better Sonys.

All n' all...

You can't go wrong with either Samsung or Toshiba IMO.

so you chose to ignore the fact that there is whole message board forums dedicated to vizio dead pixel problems

great research

hope they dont screw you like they did alot of people when you go to send it back
Shits been fine for me, it's not like i let it sit on everyday.. And yeah, i knew bout tha problem some vizios had.. I also knew that tha xbox 360 had tha RROD problem and i still copped it too.. I'm not one of those people that dwell on shit that CAN happen.. When it does happen i'll take care of it.. I got a warranty wit' costco so i know if anything goes down ima get my cheddah back.

And fuck yeah Ninja Gaiden 2 is gonna be dope.

1080i is interlaced.. and 1080p is progressive. 1080p you see everything in sharp detail pixel by pixel.. 1080i is like your old television you see those lines. But it doesnt really matter right now unless you have a blu ray player and watch movies on it, because everything is broadcasted in 720 i believe.

^i would add Toshiba to that list.

my personal preference for tvs givin' the quality and price..

1. Toshiba
2. Samsung
3. Sony (a bit more expensive then the others but picture quality is a little better)
