You guys think if the Dodgers won the world series it would put heat on the front office to put out a better team on the field? Seeing as they are our biggest, heated rival and in the same division. Or it would be completely irrelevant and they wouldn't give a shit.

btw dodgers winning the ws makes me feel like puking.

Jason Bay leaving Boston for San Francisco?

By Mark Miller

The San Francisco Giants want to add a player with a big bat this off-season and the word is that the Boston Red Sox's Jason Bay(notes) will be the prime target, according to the Boston Globe.

The Giants, who've needed a big offensive threat ever since Barry Bonds(notes) receded into the fog, are apparently ready to open their wallet for a fella like Bay or Matt Holliday(notes), both of whom will be free agents soon enough.

The Red Sox are apparently hoping to retain Bay, but he has his home in Seattle and rumor has it he'd like to return to the West Coast.

Out of the two I'd rather have Holliday. Younger, better batting average. Put him in clean up after pablo or put him before pablo. Either way one of them two would get better pitches to hit.
