Barry Sanders in an easy one. Emmitt had a line to run behind and a fullback. Barry was on a worse team, worse offensive line, and barely ran behind a full back. Barry had more speed and made more tacklers miss than Emmitt did. I'd take Barry Sanders over Emmitt without hesitation.

I can’t believe people actually consider Emmit over Barry. Unbelievable. Emmit, for the most of his career, had some of the best blocking imaginable. He is a north/south runner. Wow, amazing. Barry had nothing; he created and fought for everything himself. While Emmit would cheaply run out of bounds to avoid a hit, Sanders would keep running or pull of some crazy spin move. Absolutely no comparison.

Emmitt was only better at one thing....looking over his shoulder to see who's running him down after he ran through a garage sized hole untouched. Barry put in much work just to get passed the scrimage line then broke down the Db's and outran the safteys to the in-zone and still made it look easy..... to whom ever said emmitt is the best back...if YOU had a hole that big to run through (even as out of shape as you are sittin at tha computer right now) You would be half as good as Emmitt not to say emmitt was a bad back, he's tough and had a few moves but comparing him to barry is like comparing Tim Duncan to Micheal Jordan 2 different levels Fundamentals Vs Fundamentals plus creativity plus raw athletic ability plus then some................. Get It Right

Who ran away from the record like a bitch instead of running towards it? Who has the 3 superbowl rings and mvp's? Sanders= avg 2 yards a carry the whole game, then gets a 60 yard run. Most overrated RB in history.
