How many wars were started in the name of "God", to keep people in order? I'm sorry to tell you but, organized religion has been nothing but a tool used by those who want to control the masses... Through-out history, it's always been "if you're not with us, then you're against us", and that mentality can be justified in different ways, through religious texts...

People did that. Not the religion itself. Christianity is all about good stuff but there are always evil people who want to take advantage of everything and use it as an excuse to do horrible things. Go to church, you see any hate or wars there? No. Plus no one even forces anyone to go to church. It's all voluntary.

the majority of foreigners here are roman catholic. The Renaissance was mostly a Christian time. Lots of hot Swedish teens left..Muslim woman is suing Disneyland cause they fired her for wearing a scarf!
