Naw, I never played on hardcore mode. Unless u play on hardcore there's really no reason for the campfires or survival skill. Is it fun to play that way?

Yeah campfires and the survival skill are a lot more useful in hardcore mode. My hardcore character uses items from campfires a lot more than stimpaks. But I still use the campfires for things like antivenom and slasher.

Yeah hardcore mode is fairly fun and its not a detriment or anything. You just have to strategize a bit more and remember to carry only what you need and remember where all the water sources are.

I used to carry all kinds of stuff I never used on my non-hardcore carrier. Not I just have a rifle, 2 sidearms, my armor, and aid. It's less than 50 pounds and lets me loot all kinds of shit from people I kill and sell them later for a bunch of caps.

9mm is the shit.

Get the Ratslayer. It's the unique version of the varmint rifle. It comes modded with a silencer and night vision scope. I use the Maria version of the 9mm, Benny's gun.

I think I'm gonna buy the dead money dlc but i hear it's pretty hard. What level should I be before starting it, for anyone who's played it?

I thought you played it already for some reason...if you're around level 20 you should be good.
