i burned a cd and the music skips whut can i do???

my burner is at 48x but i don't know about my cd rom.

i tried it once again at 4x (the lowest) this one came out better but sum songs still skip.sum don't skip at all.

now i really don't know whut to do.

on another notet he cdrs are 48x also.

no they are brand new and cleaned.

i never tried burning cd to cd.

i'm taking songs from different cd's then burning them on nero.

exactly.

i'm taking about 4 from two cd's and one from one cd.and two mp3's.

mp3's worked but last night a couple had errors and could'nt be read.

today it's like sum songs don't skip but sum have a lil static.

one song barely skips for like a second.

two songs skip for like 5 seconds.

ama call the store that installed it and ask them whuts going on but they don't open till 10.

whut really sucks is the there is no online trouble shooting.the manufacturer for my burner their site don't even exist no more.

i'm using a hi-val burner and nero program.

well thanks for trying to help guys.

it's frustrating cause my brother bought the burner and it does'nt work properly.

i'm frustrated too cause i want it to be fine and work for him.

i don't know alot of things but i'm learning.

it's hard to explain when you have computer problems.especially to people that don't know anything about computers.

pitty.

we picked the only two burners that would work for my computer.out of the two the guy at the store recommended the hi-val the other he knew nothing about.

i'm using imation cdr's

48x 80 min/700mb

i also used the one cdr that came with the program to burn with.they both skipped.

you know whuts wierd is one of my speakers stoped working when i got my computer back from being installed.

Your cd rom and cd burner might not be compatible. Might want to look into that. If the cd rom can't read the cd fast enough it has problems.

problem solved.

i called the manufacturer and they said everything we were doing was fine.

the problem is the item (burner it'self) it's defective and should be replaced.

i told him everything i was doing whut i was using and everything was fine.

we just picked a bad apple.

so now we will get it replaced.

my burner has been fuckin up cds lately
it leaves a nasty ticking noise in tha cds i burn, forcing my to shut down my computer & try again
i can only burn at 1x speed now cuz if i try it at anything higher it jus spits it out halfway thru burning

maybe my burner is just about thru with?
ive only had it over a year & my pc is fairly new
