There are other factors to consider as well like weight class. GB roster is deepest between 140-154. GB I also notice tends to rush guys faster than TR which could be a good or bad thing depending on the fighter. Some guys need more time to develop some guys need tough fights right away. It's a tricky art form to know how to precisely bring up a fighter.

GB doesn't do a great job, like you said, with bringing their guys along. They have been much more apt to get guys that have loses back on tv slots though which I think is great. UFC has been doing this for years and works well for them. Guys like Josesito Lopez would've disappeared a long time ago with TR IMO

No, what TR would have done with Josesito is kept him in his weight class til he wins a title then maybe moved him up if he dominates his fights. Him and Broner are key examples. Broner would have stayed at 135 and fought either Alvarado or Rios this past year if he were in TR. Imagine the ratings on those fights? Maybe even ppv status? but whatevers, we can't play what ifs

Thats kinda true about Josesito Lopez dudes whole purpose was to be fed to the lions. He was a 140 pound fighter and they had him move up to fight Victor Ortiz, which was intended for Ortiz to look good after the Floyd loss only Lopez broke his jaw and ended up winning. Then only three months after, and just making his debut at 147 against Ortiz, they have him move up to 154 to fight Canelo lol. So that's three weight classes in less than a year with no tune up or safe fight. After getting KOd by a much bigger Canelo they put him in with Maidana! No time to recover. His career is already basically over that's too much damage in a short amount of time.

That is crazy that a unknown from 135 would actually fight Ortiz, Canelo, & Maidana back to back to back. Thats some serious balls but also some serious stupidity LMAO! Like Tom Arnold said in True Lies "Thats ballsy, stupid but ballsy" lol.

Yeah, it's not like Lopez was ever gonna be an elite fighter. He is what he is and I don't think he's totally used up, but 147 was a stretch for him. A fight at 154 was just flat out stupid for him but I think he was probably realistic with himself and knew he better seize the day on that. Seems like a good dude and tough as hell. I think they should give him a somewhat slow road back. Maybe a fight against Cano to open up a tripleheader or something, then a Soto-Karrass, then maybe another significant fight if he won those first two. I think he's a tv fighter, just not an elite fighter. He was taxing Maidana if you think about it before the knockout for awhile. He did better against him than Broner did.

I wouldnt go that far. He had his moments just like Broner did. I had the Broner fight even after 7 which says alot considering how the first two rounds went. Also Broner was a warrior and went the distance while Lopez got pummeled and ko'd so I have to disagree. Its ok because Broner will get his revenge against Maidana trust me! Got Em!!

I think the Lopez stoppage was a bit premature. He was definitely hurt but Lopez also had Maidana on his heels a lot more than Broner ever did in that fight. Either way, we're talking about a guy who never won a title and a guy who was supposed to be boxing's next big thing and they are comparable. Screw it, match Lopez vs. Broner, crossroads fight lol

Im a big josesito fan foo has big balls tuff m.t.f if u piss him off he going to fuck u up if not almost lol but i was thinking josesito vs broner i see broner talking hella shit and josesito letteing his hands go with his mug on lol would be a war..
