Is Sosa really as good as they were building him up as? Cuz Chocolatito started teeing off on him as soon as the fight started, I've never seen anything like that at a high level

He got in there and didn't run. He tried to fight, GGG was just too strong and Monroe doesn't have KO power. I tell you what, if Canelo hits GGG with the shots Monroe did he's in trouble.

Lol@big drama show.
Golovkin knows and understands the difference in his opponents power. When he faces a guy that can't hurt him, he doesn't give a shit, like against Murray same thing. When he's in there against a puncher he's much more defensively responsible, like against Stevens he was much more cautious and weary of a big counter shot. he doesn't fight the same every fight, it all depends on what his opponent is packing. Against Canelo he's not going to allow him to punch him in the face for fun.

Yes and no. He's 35 in divisions where 35 year olds don't really beat guys like Chocolatito. He's beaten plenty of solid fighters including guys like Viloria & Segura (beat Segura in 2013) and was one of the top light flyweights for years, he's not an elite flyweight at the moment but there's no one else in the division that would do that to him. It'd have probably been a better fight a few years back when they were both at light flyweight, but Sosa likely wouldn't have fought him then.

Not saying you are, but no way people can criticize Monroe here. Dude fought his ass off, was hurt multiple times, and instead of running tried to fight out of it each time.
I've been defending him on boxingscene forum against people calling him a quitter. People are idiotic, he took monster shots and kept fighting. Not trying to just survive either he was banging toe to toe right after he was knocked down, he showed a ton of heart. He was smart not to continue, had nothing left, no need to get hurt anymore.
