Robert GUERRERO. He's from The Bay so he has some fans on here, plus he's really good.

Who the hell is The Ghost fighting ? LOL...the dude is 29-21.
definitely a bum! But I read the guy can scrap apparently so it may be entertaining while it lasts. I guess this is considered kind of a "comeback" fight in a way. He was having some problems. His wife was diagnosed with leukemia so he basically took about a year off so I heard.

shitty! I'm sure you can get a stream online.

And it makes sense this fight is selling so well since they actually have reasonable ticket prices! Normally a fight like this would be at least $300 for the nosebleeds, so $25 for the upper level is great....I think the most expensive tickets are $300. Less is more! Especially with the bad economy and all.

What's strange to me is that his is co-promoted by Golden boy. Well, Golden Gay is also promoting an MMA even on the same day. WTF is up with that?

Fasho, no doubt ! I'm knowin about the Ghost already, I really like watching him fight. I was just wondering who this scrub was he was up against.

Best of luck to your cuzzo though man, he's got the skill & the talent (and a mean ass left!), just hope everything else is in order. He should get some quality fights though now that he's with GBP.

^^I don't think Margarito can get KO'd. He's got a chin built like Marvin Hagler. If cotto nailed him continuously with his best shots and they didn't even phase Margarito or push him back, I doubt Mosley could hurt him.

With that said Shane does have a chance of winning if he's smart and out-boxes Margarito because clearly shane is the better boxer. I just don't know if shane has enough left at his age to do that anymore. He looked crappy to me in his last fight against Mayorga, although he looked great prior to that against Cotto. Plus shane has a tendency to brawl with fighters when it's not necessary and that's not something he's going to want to do against Margarito.

There is an article here that says mosley will win though.

WBA welterweight champion Antonio ‘The Tijuana Tornado’ Margarito and three-division world champion ‘Sugar’ Shane Mosley pose during the press conference for their upcoming world welterweight championship on Saturday at Staples Center in Los Angeles on HBO’s World Championship Boxing. Former two-division Bernard Hopkins separates the two combatants.
———-
“I know Mosley’s style, he knows mine,” Margarito told reporters today. “He knows I’m not stepping back. I’ll be pressuring him to fight my fight. You will see a knockout!” Mosley promised a “special” performance. “My training has gone well and on Saturday you’ll notice a diference,” he stated. Golden Boy’s Bernard Hopkins, referencing his recent win over Kelly Pavlik, warned “Don’t think Mosley will lose because he’s older.” Margarito vs. Mosley is promoted by Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions.

Antonio Margarito 145.8 vs Shane Mosley 147.2 at first, 147 at second try

Mosley originally weighed in at 147lbs., but then the scale jumped to 147.2 so Shane was asked to reweigh. He weighed 147.2 the second time. Shane returned a few minutes later and weighed 147 even. Comment from Margarito: “I always make sure I make the weight. He’s got to make that weight and it’s his problem.” After making weight Mosley said “I’m ready to go!”

Thank god! Quality fight and it's not on PPV.

Everytime I watch a Margarito fight it looks like dude is on some crank/speed. He eats those power shots to the chin and just walks through em like nothing. Only time you ever see him wince in pain is if you lucky enough to get a body shot in.

I either see Margarito beating Mosley down with those body shots before he scores a K.O or I see Shane's speed to be too much and get's a decision.

Either way, thank god it aint on PPV
