snoops second cd on no limit No Limit Top Dogg wasnt bad seemed like he went back to what worked for him instead of trying to do the down south shit on that one. I cant lie though for a while I was buying every cd that dropped on no limit up til that only god can judge me shit then I stopped
lol thats pretty much the same shit that i did, didnt buy anything after that shit. Although I did go get some of the albums by No limit like Kane and Abels and Richmond's very own Big ed(R.I.P) ....They all sucked btw lol

one of the most underrated No Limit (and arguably Bay Area) albums of all time:

Pre-Meditated Drama is tight too but this was a better overall album (i didn't think it was going to be)
I just listened to both of those albums, and I gotta say that Pre-Meditated Drama shits all over Black Mafia. Don't get me wrong, I like the Black Mafia, album but PMD is much better, IMO anyways.

I just got a few more old school No Limit cds from ebay. Still searching for SMG Ghetto's Trying To Kill Me! With the prices I've seen, I'm going to have to save up. That damn cd cost as much as one of my car payments lol

I got some good examples of old No Limit shit from (first wave 1991-1996), (second wave 1996-2001), (third wave 2002-2004), and (fourth wave 2005-2007). (But that's just me.)

Down South Hustlers is still my favorite comp of all time. That CD was basically my introduction to underground southern artists (besides Rap-A-Lot). ESG - The South, Hounds from Gerttown - Murder Weapon, G's Stay Real, were my jams.
Im Bout It was dope too, I remember driving around in my 1990 Toyota Celica bumping that shit, good times!
That original No Limit era coincides to when I first started posting on BART, lots of great memories from those days, you guys got me reminiscing right now...
