I stopped using applanet, since it seemed like it was rarely updated. That being said, I'm getting tired of downloading entire APK packs that I'll never use 3/4 of or searching for specific APKs by themselves. I just wasnt sure if anyone has taken the applanet idea to the next level and created a good ACTIVE community around the idea. (I guess those exist, but more in the form of modding not pirating).

I too have been seriously impressed with the lack of constant bugs that I encountered with my Droid1. I was just never sure if the problems I was finding were due to unstable ROMS or the OS itself at that point.

I swear I remember seeing a few of the members on here saying they were doing app developing around the time this thread started, anyone still doin that?

now im irritated that i JUST heard about that price drop, i would have attempted to get one today.

online it says there are still some stores in the area with them, might try to get one in the morning


EDIT:
just ordered 1 from the bestbuy website....ill be picking it up in the morning

lets try and keep this thread updated with these things getting a Android port, i hear WebOS is decent, but fuck that haha

getting the Touchpad is kinda out of hand right now. its sold out everywhere, and every online site that lowers there price to $99/$149 sells out within minutes. i ordered from bestbuy.com last night to pick it up in the store today, got an email this morning saying the store didnt have it anymore. called them up and they said it wont be available for store pick up but that they will ship it to me for free. pain in the ass to make the phone calls but getting a $400 tablet for $100 is too good to pass on

IS THIS NEW T-MOBILE TWO LINES FOR $49.99 DEAL A WISE DECISION? IT SAYS 4G SERVICE W/ UNLIMITED TALK, TEXT, AND DATA. HOWEVER, PEOPLE ARE TELLING ME T-MOBILES CLAIM TO OFFER UNLIMITED DATA IS FALSE, AND THAT THERE ARE DATA RESTRICTIONS. ANYONE KNOW THE DETAILS?
